L-51 So now, in speaking to the woman, if the Lord Jesus, the woman witnessing herself by her hand up, and me with my hands up, that we've never seen one another, don't know one another, nothing about it. And now, if Jesus Christ by His grace will come here, and anoint me and let me know what that woman's here for, or her trouble, or whatever it is, I don't know... But whatever it is, then to disbelieve that would be sin. Then you have not one excuse.
Now, you see where I stand? See? Now, why do I make them statements? Because He promised it to me. And I believe God. Just exactly the way He said it would be.
Now, I just want to talk to the woman just a moment. What did Jesus talk to the woman for? Catch her spirit. That's right. Catch her spirit. And I just want to say a word to the woman. Maybe the Lord will show me something about her; that I don't know. If He will, you can rejoice. If He doesn't, He still raised from the dead anyhow. See? If He doesn't, He still raised from the dead anyhow. If it is, it's just His--it's just His mercy to do it. And I believe everyone down that line, I don't know. All you all strangers to me, raise your hands up, if are, down along the line? Every one of them, all strangers.
The only person I know in the building is Brother Mattsson, and this brother here, my son, and Mr. Wood, and there is Leo setting there, and Brother Alment setting right back out there. I don't even... Here's Brother Beeler. I didn't even know you were here, Brother Beeler. And outside of that, I guess, there's just about the only persons that I know in the building. Yes, I know this brother here, he comes to the tabernacle. I don't know what... Smith, isn't it, or something like that. Yes. You're all strange to me. But now, to the woman...
L-52 Now, isn't He lovely, sister? He's the Fairest of ten thousands. He's the Lily of the Valley, the Morning Star. And I perceive right now that you are a Christian, 'cause your spirit begins to feel welcome. See? I know that somewhere standing near, He's standing, because your spirit and the Holy Spirit, which is now on me, is becoming contacting each other. See? And now, He can reveal to me. And if He knows what your--your past has been, and you, you're the judge of that, and He tells you what your future will be, surely, if He knows the past, He knows the future. If He'd tell the future, before He told the past, then you could--you could wonder whether it was going to happen or not. But if He'd tell you what you already know has happened, then you--you'd know whether the future's going to be right or not. See how He does it? He makes it real, no way out of it.
But now, if the audience can--can still hear my voice, the woman seems to be moving away from me. She's going back. And I see her; she's standing in a building. She's... No, she's before a doctor. And the doctor says she has a--a tumor. And the tumor, he says is a--a thyroid tumor. And he says that you must be operated on; frankly, I see a shadow come over that, that was to have been the middle of last week. You was to be operated on. But the reason you didn't, you heard that I was coming here. And you come, and wanted me to pray for you before this could take place. THUS SAITH THE LORD; that's true.
Our heavenly Father, I lay my hands upon the woman to bless her, and may God's great blessing rest upon her. For You said, "These signs shall follow them that believe. If they lay hands on the sick they shall recover." That's Your Word. In Jesus Christ's Name. Amen. God bless you now, sister. May His grace ever be with you. [Song of Solomon 2:1], [Mark 16:17-18]
L-53 Do you now believe? Just have faith. If you can have faith, you can believe. And you can have what you ask for.
Is that the lady that's setting there was on the platform just now? That didn't look like the lady I saw in the vision, here just then, though, that appeared... It's not. You went down there with the anointing on you, and you set down by the lady setting on this side of you. Yes. She's bothered, got back trouble, the lady setting next to you. That's right.
Now, you with your handkerchief at your eyes, lay your hand over on your sister there on this side of you, this side, with the back trouble. O Jesus, Son of God, Thou Who can know the woman touched You. I pray for her healing in Jesus Christ's Name. Amen. Now, go home in peace, sister; your faith has made you whole. Have faith and believe in God.
The Bible said, "All things are possible to them that believe." Is that right? [Mark 9:23]
L-54 Another lady... Is this the patient? Just this a way, sister, over here, by the microphone. Now, we're strange to each other too. Seeing that you are a colored lady, and me a white man, again the same thing rises. I like the faith of you people. In the early days back in the slavery time, you were beat around and pushed around. But in there, the inheritance, even from your fathers, has given you a faith, humble, simple faith.
Now, I'm a stranger. I don't know you. But one of your brothers, when Jesus was up, going up Calvary with the load on His back, He fell under the load. His body was weak. He was beaten. And Simon helped Him bear the cross. Don't you believe He will help one of His children standing here? If you only knew, my sister, that the very Christ that he helped to bear the cross, His Spirit is right here by your side. I am your brother. He is your God and your Saviour.
You are suffering with a condition that you're upset about. It's a tumor condition. And you're all undecided about it. You have a lady's trouble also, causes you trouble. And if God will tell me where that place is, will you help your faith just a little while He's at you? It's in your side, the right side. You believe now?
Dear God, I bless this woman, that You will help her and let her live, and give her a long life. And may Thy eternal blessings rest upon her and heal her in Jesus Christ's Name. Amen. God bless you, lady.
L-55 If thou canst believe. Don't feel bad. If you'd been her fix you would probably holler too. See? She just catching here; she was under such of an anointing; she couldn't say nothing then. But just as soon it lifted from her, she give vent to her feelings.
He said, "If thou canst believe."
Lady, the white lady setting right here, you're praying too, aren't you? I don't know you. I've never seen you as far as I know in my life. You're a stranger to me, but your faith has contacted Him. You're a Christian, a believer. And you're suffering with a headache, keeps coming on you. You're not from this country. You come from the north, coming south, driving this a way. And you live on something like a farm; there's a lot of short stuff grow... It's wheat, wheat farm. That is right. Do you believe Him? It's your faith that's contacted Him. You believe Him now with all your heart. What I tell you is the truth. If it is, raise your hand. Now, you go home and be well. May they leave you in Jesus Christ's Name. [Mark 9:23]
L-56 How do you do, lady. Now, This won't hurt you. It's the Holy Spirit, but such a wonderful anointing. Oh, how dark it turns around this woman standing before me. I see her moving in some to a doctors office, hospital, but they keep shaking their head. They don't know what's wrong with her. That is right. But He does know. Your main trouble is a nervous. You just... It's a--a spasm like in the nerves; it just causes you to feel horrible all the time. They can't find it, 'cause it's a devil. And their instruments won't show a spirit. But he might've hid from the x-ray, but he can't hide from God, looks right through him. You believe? Come here.
O Jehovah, in the Name of Jesus, the Son of God, Your beloved doctors has tried to find him, but he's hid. But he can't hide from You. Come out of the woman, thou evil spirit, that's doing this thing. And Jesus Christ rebuke thee. And may she go in peace, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Look, lady, you don't know me, but you've had an up-and-down life, all the time. You've always desired a deeper life with God; you've desired deeper study with God, to live for Him, 'cause you've had your troubles. That couldn't be hid; it's not for this audience to know, that's between you, and God, and I. Will you take my advise as His prophet? You go out of here tonight, happy. Go out singing. Go out rejoicing; forget it ever happened to you, you'll be well. Amen. Now, if He knows what you have been, He surely knows what you will be.
L-57 If thou canst believe, thou canst receive. Amen. Just be real reverent. Don't doubt.
Now, do you believe, lady? Only God alone will know. I don't know you. I've never seen you, but He knows you. The vision keeps leaving me when I speak to you. Now, everyone look and pray. Don't have to close your eyes; just be in prayer. You believe me to be His servant? You believe Jesus raised from the dead? You believe the Spirit that's here between us now, that you know there's Something besides your brother. If you're aware of that, raise your hand so the audience will know it. That's the Holy Spirit. I don't know you, never seen you. But somehow I can't hold the vision to you. It moves away from you.
I see great high mountains raising up, the snow over the top of them, and there's a city sets at the bottom. It's a big city. And there's a man there which is your father. And that man's in Denver, Colorado. I passed through it. And he's got heart trouble, suffering with his heart, smothering; and you're his daughter, standing here for your father. [Mark 9:23]
L-58 O God have mercy. And I pray that You'll grant the request of this young woman. May Your Holy Spirit move out and grant to her this blessing as I lay my hands upon her, in Jesus Christ's Name. Amen. God bless you, sister. Don't fear. Have faith.
Are you believing?
You made a contact to Him, sister. I didn't see it, just what it was. But the Light was hanging over you. The lady sets, the elderly lady sitting there. Yes. Look at me. You believe? You believe He will heal those veins, those varicose veins? To both of you, both of you setting there, you both have varicose veins. You was both praying for the same thing. Raise your hands if that's true. All right. Now, have faith and believe. You can have what you ask for. If thou canst believe. Amen. Just pulling from everywhere now.
Little lady, setting right over the back of this boy setting here, I see you moving from a table; you're suffering with stomach trouble. Sitting right back here, looking at me with the hat, you believe that Jesus Christ make you well? You accept it? If you do, the little white flowers over the top of your hat there, yes, you're faith, sister, nervous and upset caused you to have this gastric condition. Don't fear; it's gone from you now. Your faith has made you well.
Only believe. Have faith in God.
The colored lady dressed in white, you was praying. Don't move; you disturbed it. See? Be real reverent; set still a few minutes, they'll take me. Don't move. Something was happening; someone moved or got up. Don't do it, please. If you can just stand still a few minutes longer, we'll hurry. [Mark 11:22]
L-59 Someone, there's vision over someone. Where was it at? Just ever who you was I was talking to, be in prayer again. See? All right, be real reverent. Which... Is--is this? I'm not beside myself, sir. But this is a--a dimension, two worlds. See, in our presence we're standing here looking at one another as men. I don't know you. I've never seen you. You're a total stranger to me. That's right, isn't it, sir? If that's right, raise up your hand. I don't know you, never seen you. But we're now, we're standing here looking at one another. So by the--your features and your face, I never seen you. And we're strange to one another. But there's another world just out here, where the supernatural is. That's where God lives. That's where the Holy Spirit is. He knows me and He knows you.
L-60 Now, I'm just your brother. He's your Saviour, your God. And you're here for something. I don't know, but He knows. I don't. If He will reveal to me what you're here for, will you accept it? You will? Will it settle it with the audience? Perhaps I speak to the man a little, just talk to him. More you talk to him, the more He'd say. But I try to conserve, reserve, rather, excuse me.
I... I'm not beside myself, but it's anointing of the Holy Ghost, and you're just drawing the life out me. You see? I--I--I, now I'm yielded to Him. You see? And it's not me doing this; it's you. You're doing it. It's God's gift. Now, I'm not His gift. This is His gift. And it's you drawing from it. Jesus didn't know the woman, knowed nothing about her; she just touched Him with her faith. That's what you're doing. There's so many of you pulling now, and the Spirit's getting me to a place where I just can hardly see. If one person made virtue go out of a Son of God, what about me, a sinner saved by grace, what one person will do? There's none of these people; I don't know this man. It'll take his faith to do it, not mine, his.
L-61 Now, my brother, I... If I could help you, if you're in trouble, or somebody else is in trouble that you're standing for, if it's sickness, finances, or whatever it is, your in trouble, and I could help you and wouldn't do it, I'd be a horrible person. I'm not here to do nothing but to help you. And the only thing I can do is just yield myself, that your faith... Now, if you're sick, I can't heal you. If your parents was sick, or your wife was sick, or somebody else, I couldn't do that. See? It just has to take faith to do it. But the Holy Spirit will reveal it, to let you know that He's risen from the dead and every word of the Bible is true. The Scripture's got to be fulfilled. And it is fulfilled before your eyes tonight.
"The things that I do," said Jesus, "shall you also, even more..." not just one woman, but more. [John 14:12]
L-62 The gift was not given to me for public, like this. You see? Just one move disturbs it. See? The Holy Spirit's so sensitive. You--you... Sure, you don't... Will you just keep your seat just for a moment or two longer? Please, don't get up. See? It just keeps moving me. Just be real reverent now. The--the--the anointing is getting so deep in the audience, till it's so sensitive. Wished I could explain it; I can't. Wish you could see what I'm looking at even, but I can't do it, can't explain it.
L-63 Now, for the sake's of this man... You have... I see you in a... you've been in the service. And you're having some kind of like sinus trouble. Yes, you're getting chilled. Malaria-like, ["That's right. Absolutely, I've had it since 1943. I...--Ed.]
You are--you are a very sick person. And you're--you are studying in some sort of a--a course or a school. It's a Bible course; you're learning to be a preacher. You're studying to be a preacher. And you are not from this country. You come from another place; it's a... You're from around a place called like Massachusetts or somewhere like in there. That is right. And your last name is Smith. Your first name is Ralph. Your middle name is Lancaster. That's right. That is true. You believe? Then come here.
Then in the Name of Jesus Christ the resurrected Son of God, I bless thee, my brother, for the healing of thy body. Amen. God be with you, my brother, give His blessings to you. And don't doubt. But believe.
Can you believe?
L-64 When I said something about sinus to the man, you thought about it, didn't you? You also have arthritis don't you, setting right there, the little lady with the black hat on? Uh-huh. The lady sets next to you has arthritis also. That's right. You believe? Put your hands on each other.
O Jesus, Son of God, heal, Lord, I pray in Jesus' Name. Have faith. Believe.
You think God heal your back trouble? The colored lady with the white hat and the white blouse, you believe it? All right, accept it then. You shall have what you ask for, in the Name of the Lord Jesus.
Nervousness, oh, my, but Jesus can heal you, can't He? You believe He does. All right, you can go along now, and go, be well. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ may God grant it to you. Amen.
L-65 How do you do? Very sick, needy, stiffening up, but God knows all about it. Can heal you of this arthritis, you know, make you well? You believe that? Raise up your feet like this. Say, "Jesus now I accept it." That's right. Now, go off the platform rejoicing, say, "Praise be to God for healing me."
You believe? You're ready for an operation, a tumor. That's right. Do you believe Jesus Christ can heal it? Then go and receive it. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray this blessing. Amen.
Have faith.
You know, Emmanuel bled one day, and His Blood came out of His Body to give a blood transfusion for you to take away the anemia, make you well. You believe that? Would you accept it? Then in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ may you receive it. Amen.
L-66 Let's say, praise the Lord. [Congregation says, "Praise the Lord."--Ed.]
Do you believe, lady, with all your heart? You'd like to go eat again, like you used to, wouldn't you? Stomach trouble and all leave you, and your nervousness, and lady's trouble. Wouldn't you like to be well again? Well, you believe? Then go do it. As your hearts desire, God grant it to you, my sister. May you be made well. Amen. Have faith.
Heart trouble's a horrible thing. But Jesus is a powerful thing. Do you believe? In Jesus' Name I bless you, my sister. May you live and serve God all your life. Amen. Go and believe now. Don't doubt.
Now, when I said that to her, you had the same thing. But do you believe that God will make you well, just the same as He could her? It's nervous condition that you--makes you that way. When you lay down it's worst than when you're standing up. See? Because it causes gasses to form, press upon it. He's here to make you well. You believe?
In the Name of Jesus the Son of God, I bless this woman for her healing. Amen. Have faith now. Don't doubt.
L-67 How do you do. You believe me to be His prophet, His servant? You do? My... When a person can't eat, it's--it's hard, isn't it? Makes you nervous too, doesn't it? Old gastric ulcer, you know, that causes your food to ferment and sour and everything. That's what you got. But Jesus is here to make you well. You believe it? If I will bless you... Jesus said, "Whatever you bind on the earth, I'll bind it in heaven." Is that right?
So for your healing, I lay my hands upon you, and I bind this nervous spirit that's upset her stomach in this condition, in the Name of Jesus Christ, and she'll be well for the Kingdom of God's sake. Amen. Don't doubt. Believe with all your heart.
Well, you have a nervous heart. But God can make you well. You believe that, don't you? You believe if I... Jesus said, "These signs shall follow them that believe. If they lay their hands on the sick, they shall recover." Is that right? Then I do this in obedience to His commandments in the Name of Jesus Christ for your healing. Amen.
Have faith now and believe with all your heart. And God grant it. [Matthew 16:17-19]
L-68 Of course, any one can see there's a blind woman. I want you to bow your head. Cursed be the person that'll raise their eyes and look this way until they hear me say, "Raise your eyes." And I have faith, and let me alone with the woman.
Jesus led a man outside the city. I don't have to see miracles to believe Him, but I believe in miracle raising God. Don't no one move. And you can suit yourself after I've said this. Keep your heads bowed till you hear my voice tell you to raise your head.
Sister, blind man set by the gate, one day, begging. Jesus came along. God bless your heart. You want to see for the glory of God. Will you give God glory? I want you to close the lids over your eyes, like the rest of the audience. And only myself and the Holy Spirit Who is supernatural stands present.
L-69 I was given a vision a few nights ago, concerning something. That's the reason I said, "Cursed be the person that would look this way or open their eyes before I ask for it."
If you will believe, the blind spirit that's blinded those eyes will have to leave. Sight will appear through them. Now, have faith.
Thou God, Who made the human eye, Who has mercy on the blind, have mercy on this poor woman who staggers in darkness. And O Jesus, as You were going up Golgotha, the Blood running down Your back, and Your robe turned into one great bloody splotch, the crown over Your head, bleeding, Your Blood was dragging down, the cross was dragging out Your bloody footprints. You fell; Simon picked up the cross and helped You bear it. God, here is one of his children, moping along in darkness tonight, aged, doctors can do no more, but You're here, God. Won't You have faith? Won't You have pity? Won't You give me faith, that what I'm asking for, I'll get. Give her faith, Lord. May the daylight break through those darkened shadows yonder. May the anointed High Priest walk down into there, packing His own Blood.
And I rebuke this blind spirit on this woman in the Name of Jesus Christ. God, I don't desire miracles. You said, "A weak and adulterous generation seeketh after such." And we don't seek after miracles. But that this audience tonight may know beyond a shadow of doubt, that You're the resurrected Jesus Christ, that You still can give sight to the blind, and that Your works are true, I ask for sight to peek through these eyes, that she might see. And believing with all my heart, I go forward now to challenge this spirit in the Name of Jesus Christ. [Matthew 12:39], [Matthew 16:4]
L-70 Now, keep your eyes closed, lady. I'm only talking to the lady at the platform. I'm doing this beyond a vision. And now, without a shadow of doubt, I'm speaking only to the lady in front of me, not the audience. I want you to slowly open your eyes, looking towards me, believing with all your heart that the Spirit of God is here giving you sight.
L-71 See my hand? There you have your sight. Put your hand on my nose. He has given you your sight. The audience may raise their head. The blind now sees. Count the lights along over there. Point your finger to them. She's going to count the lights. Now, over here.
Listen. Lay it up here. How many men setting there? "Three." she said. Put your--put your finger on my nose. You have your sight. Amen.
Let us raise our hands and praise the Lord. Every one here desiring healing of your body, if you desire your healing, raise up your hands to God.
Dear Jesus, Author of Life, send Your Spirit upon this people that's now waiting. Heal them, Lord. And I pray that You'll give each of them their healing just now. I cast every evil power of the devil away from this audience and ask that Jesus Christ come now.

56-0406 - Philadelphia Church, Chicago, IL (Paragraphs: 66 - 85)
L-67 Now, here's a woman standing here. I--I want you to look at me just a moment, sister. We're strangers to one another, I suppose, and... But God knows both of us. I don't know you, and you don't know me, so... But God knows us both. Is that right? And if... you're just a woman that they give out a card--a prayer card either last night, or tonight, and--and you... When a number was called, that was your number, and you just come up here. That's--that's all there is to it. Is that right? I never seen you, never knowed you, and you never knowed me. We're born probably miles apart and years apart, and here's our first time meeting. But there's Someone here Who knows you. There's Someone here Who knows me. You are a woman; I'm a man. You are a Christian; I'm a Christian. And the Spirit between us is the Holy Spirit. And that Spirit is trying... You're trying to contact that Spirit for something; I don't know what. It might be finances; it... I don't know what in the world you're here for. God does know. He knows what in this great universe that you need. I don't. But if Jesus has raised from the dead, and He's the same yesterday, today, and forever...
L-68 There was a woman came to Him one time, drawing some water, in Saint John 4. And Jesus said, "Bring Me a drink." Wonder why He wanted a conversation with her? Contact her spirit. And He said, "Bring Me a drink."
She said, "It's not customary for Jews to ask Samaritans such, or have any dealings."
He said, "But if you knew Who you were talking to, you'd ask Me for a drink. And I'd bring--give you water you don't come here to draw."
The conversation went on about where they worship at and so forth. What was Jesus doing? Contacting her spirit. He was on His road to Jericho, but He went up by Samaria, way up in the hills, way away from Jericho, because the Father told Him to go up there. He set down and sent His disciples away because the Father had said so. He said He did nothing till the Father showed Him.
Now, then the woman, after talking to her, He found where her trouble was. And He said, "Go, get your husband."
She said, "I have none."
Said, "That's right, you got five."
Now, what did she say? She said, "Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet, that we know that when the Messiah cometh, He will tell us these things, but Who are You?"
He said, "I'm He that speaks to you."
She run into the city and said, "Come see the Man that told me the things that I have done. Isn't this the very Christ?" [John 4:7-9, 13-19, 26, 29]
L-69 Now, if He's... That was the sign of the Messiah. Is that right? If that was the sign of Messiah then, it's the sign of the Messiah now. What did the world say about it? What did the church say about it? They said, "He's a spiritualist. He's a devil, Beelzebub."
But what did she say? "He's the Messiah."
What did Nathanael say when He told him? What did Peter say when He even told him his name? He said, "You're the Son of God, the King of Israel."
Now, that's the same thing now, sister. You can only say it. And if it's done, I don't say it will be; but if it is, it'll be a sign to you and a sign to this church, that Jesus Christ is alive tonight and not dead. He's alive. It will not heal you; it'll take your faith in Him to heal you. Healing only comes through your individual faith in Him, or your desire in Him to get what you want. But He can speak through me. And me knowing nothing about you, it'd have to take the supernatural to do it. That's right. [John 1:42-50]
L-70 Now, I trust the audience understands this, and may you be real reverent for I know the Holy Spirit is coming cross from my right hand side at this time. And now, in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, I minister in His Name, for His glory, that the people might know that Jesus Christ is still alive after nineteen hundred years and will be forever the same.
If the audience can still hear my voice, I see the woman moving away, and she is very nervous, just extremely upset. And her nervous is a nervous of fear. She's scared. And she's always beset of those things. They can't find out, even the doctors, what causes it. They don't know what it is. And this very day she's been somewhere for this, and that would be a hospital. And she goes into the hospital, and she's having x-rays taken. And them x-rays is of the spine, and in the legs, so that the doctor is trying to find out what is wrong with the woman. That is the truth, THUS SAITH THE LORD.
Now, whatever was told you was the truth, was it? If it is, raise up your hand. Then Jesus has risen from the dead. The last words He said when He ascended up, "These signs shall follow them that believe; if they lay their hands on the sick, they shall recover." There's Something here that knows you. That is right. There's Something here. And I can tell you now where your trouble is. It's a spasm in the nerves. That's exactly right. True. You feel relieved, don't you? For you're healed. Your faith has made you well. Amen. Now, go on your road.
Now, you see, I never even touched you. Your faith made you well. You know now that He's raised from the dead. God bless you. Have faith in God. Have faith in God. Don't doubt. [Mark 16:18]
L-71 Howdy do? We are strangers to each other, I suppose, lady. We do not know each other. And then another picture about the time that I was just quoting: a colored lady, white man. And it was a Jew and a Samaritan, between Jesus and a Samaritan woman. And there was a racial affair in them days, and there's always been because of color of a person's skin. But Jesus let her know that there was no difference in God. We're all God's children. That's right, all the offsprings of Adam. That's right. The countries we was raised in, it turned us different colors has nothing to do with our Creator. He is Almighty God Who made us. And He made us after His own way, and His own desire, and His own fashion. God is a God of variety. Do you believe that, lady?
If God only had white flowers, we would think He was, just believe, just wanted one color. But He has white flowers, red flowers, blue flowers, all kinds of flowers. That's the way He made His people: white, black, brown, yellow, all different colors. God is a God of variety. He loves it. He makes big mountains and little mountains. He makes prairies; He makes deserts; He makes the lakes, the seas, big trees, little trees. He's a God of variety; He makes us the way we are.
L-72 Say, "What are you doing, Brother Branham?" Contacting your spirit, because you're in a dangerous condition. That is true. You had much trouble, and your trouble is in your throat. That's right. You've had it for some time. I see you moving. You're going somewhere. You're asleep or something. They got you laying back and a white thing over you. Oh, it's an operation. The doctors had took your tonsils out. But still, you don't know whether that's it or not. That's right. That isn't it. You're an allergic to a plant. That's true. Now, you believe now?
Now, He Who knows you, you believe that He can make you well? Let me have your hand just as a point of contact.
O God, here is one of Simon's children, the one that helped You bear the cross up Golgotha. Your servants, the doctors, has tried all they can for her, but they failed to find this enemy; but you know him, and he's exposed right here now. So in the Name of Jesus Christ, thou enemy of this woman's life, come out of her. You can't hide from God. Leave her, for the glory of God, in the Name of the Son of God. Amen.
Now, sister. He Who knows what was, surely will know what will be. Go, and be happy, and rejoice. [Matthew 27:32-35]
L-73 How do you do? Do you believe, all your heart? Very well.
Now, the Holy Spirit left the altar. Setting there praying for that lung trouble, wasn't you, lady? You touched Him. Having trouble in your lungs, stand up on your feet just a minute, the lady right here. All right. Jesus Christ makes you well, sister. Your faith touched Him. He's the High Priest that can be touched by the feelings of your infirmities. Amen.
Just pray. Challenge your faith. Believe it with all your heart. Jesus said, "If thou canst believe, all things are possible." You believe He's raised from the dead now? Now, have faith. Just say, "Lord, have mercy on me. Maybe my faith has been mental faith; maybe it's been emotional; but now let me calm down. Let me believe You, Lord. Let me believe You." [Hebrews 4:15], [Mark 9:23]
L-74 Now, I don't know you, lady. There's no way of me knowing you, because we're strangers to one another. But Christ knows us both. He knows me and He knows you. And someday you and I will have to stand in His Presence. Woe unto us then, if we're not deep and sincere in our hearts.
Trouble with your back, haven't you, setting out there on the end of the--the third row, out there at the end. If you believe... Yes, sir. I seen you trying to get up, holding your back and trying to work and stoop over. Those things are true, sir. If it is, shake your hands back and forth so the audience can see it. You were praying to God and said, "God, let me be included in this." If that's right, shake your hands again. Your faith has saved you, brother. Amen.
Have faith in God, Christian friend. Believe Him.
L-75 Pardon me, lady. I can only move as He moves me. You understand that, do you? Yes. Just as He moves... You're not here for yourself. You're here for someone else, and that is a relative of yours, a grandchild. That's right. And there's something wrong with the blood. I see them taking it back and forth to the hospital and giving it blood transfusions, and it won't work, and you're standing for this child.
There's something to do with you about a Catholic. You are a Catholic. That's right. Well, great is your faith, sister. May I have this?
Eternal Jehovah, Who raised up Jesus from the dead, the doctors have failed, but Thou cannot fail, Lord. You are eternal God. I bless this handkerchief for the intended purpose that I send it, for the healing of the one that's sick. And when it's placed upon the one that it is going to, may the evil move out and may they be healed in Jesus Christ's Name. Amen.
Now, lady. When you see this come to pass, you serve the Lord with all your heart and live for Him. Don't doubt. You can have what you ask for. God bless you. May you... Be pray thankful to God, and serve Him always. God bless you.
L-76 How do you do, sir? We are strangers to each other. I don't know you; you don't know me, as far as I know. But we're strangers. If we are, raise your hand.
Now, just be real reverent. Don't get up, if you can, for a few moments. See, you're each one of soul. You each one got a spirit. There's people praying, and It's just moving. You'd be surprised. Why did I get weak? Why am I trembling? Why are... I'm sweating here on this cool night? You should stand here once. You'd know.
Here's a man standing here. Just ask him. Him standing this close to the anointing and the Spirit between us. There is a feeling on you, sir, that's very calm, and welcome and loving. If that's right, wave your hands to the people like this. See? Right between he and I... How many has ever seen the picture of It, the Pillar of Fire that they got in Washington, DC See? That's what between he and I now.
L-77 The man's a stranger. I don't know him. Christ does. But, sir, I see you're shadowed. There's a darkness. I see them taking you into a--a building of so... It's a hospital, then you had an operation. Then you had another operation, and they were for cancer. And the cancer remained. The doctor has failed to get it, but he can't hide from Jesus.
You're not from this city. You're from a smaller city than this. That's from... I... Looks like I seen the... It's Rockford, Illinois, is where you're from, and your name is Leonard, I believe they call you...?... and your address is 3034 Eighth Street.
Now, I say this because you had faith; you're shadowed with death. Do you believe that Jesus Christ stands here? He knowed how to call Cephas, Peter. You believe it? Then there's some kind of a Spirit got me anointed. Do you believe it to be the Son of God? Come here.
O Jesus, Son of God, let Thy Holy Ghost move into this man and heal him, and may his life be spared. And I condemn the devil that's killing him. May it leave him this night and may he get well. Go home and be happy and eat and live. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.
The prayer of faith shall save the sick and God shall raise them up. And then, go on your road and rejoice. Jesus Christ, God's Son does His great, holy, redemptive Work. Have faith. Don't doubt. Just believe. [James 5:15]
L-78 Um, bless the Lord. I don't know you, my brother. I've never seen you. That's right. But one day Philip went and got a man by the name of Nathanael and brought him to the Lord Jesus. And Jesus, as soon as He seen him, He seen his sincerity and his honesty, He said, "Behold, an Israelite."
And I say unto you, "Behold, a Christian, honest, sincere." You're noted, even with your people for being a sincere Christian. That's truth, sir. That's right. You're shadowed by a cancer. The cancer's in the neck. That is right. You're not from this country. No. You come from somewhere else, didn't you? Ohio, Cleveland. That's right. Your name's Emmerson, isn't it? Now, go back. Jesus Christ, God's eternal love, heal you, my brother, and make you well. Have faith. Have faith in God. [John 1:47]
L-79 You want to get over that diabetes and be made well? Jesus Christ... Do you believe will do it? Come here.
O God, Creator of heavens and earth, Author of Everlasting Life, Giver of every good gift, send Thy blessings upon the woman who I bless in Thy Name. In Jesus' Name may she be healed. Amen. Don't doubt. Believe.
L-80 That's a wonderful name you're wearing. Nervousness is a horrible thing, keeps you tore up all the time. 'Course you was born nervous. All your life, you've been nervous. I see you even as a school girl, nervous. Nothing can help it. Everybody says, "Get next to yourself." But that don't do no good. Can't help it, sister. There's something that frights you, but Jesus Christ is here to take it from you. Do you believe it?
God, as I lay my hand upon this young lady here just in the prime of life, I curse this affliction on her body. She wants to serve You, Lord, and serve You in freedom. And I take it away from her in the Name of Jesus Christ. May it go and never return again, for God's glory. Amen.
L-81 Now, don't fear, young lady. Look. Will you do as I tell you, now? You feel all right at this time (See?), because it's gone. When you come up here, there was a dark shadow around you. It's gone now. It scared you. You can't help it; it comes to you. But look, now the unclean spirit's gone from you. He walks in dry places. He will try to return again, but you just take my word, as God's prophet; don't you never have a frown on your face. Sing all day long and praise God, no matter how you feel, or what takes place. It'll leave you and won't come no more. Now, go do that. You believe with all your heart. That's right. How would I know that, except God told me that?
L-82 Do you believe me now? That's a killer. Kills more people than anything else, but Christ is a Saviour. They that walk upright before God, He said He'd withhold no good thing from them. You promised Him to do this? Walk upright before Him, all the days of your life, if He will spare you? Then come here and let me pray for you.
God, Who knows her, Who would know this woman's condition just the same as You did the woman at the well, send Your blessings on her and bless her and spare her life as I ask in Jesus Christ's Name. Amen.
L-83 "The effectual, fervent, prayer of a righteous man availeth much," James 5:15. That's right. Now, we're not righteous. No man is righteous, only the Son of God. So we don't stand, and I don't stand in my righteousness. I stand in His righteousness. So as long as I'm anointed with Him, it's the effectual, fervent, prayer of the righteous Christ interceding for you, through me, to have you to believe. Do you believe that? Then your heart trouble's gone. Go and be well for the glory of God. [James 5:16]
L-84 Lady, do you believe me? Do you believe me to be the servant of the Son of God, a point of contact to the great High Priest, a lip for Him to speak through, or eyes for Him to look through? Then if He can use my eyes for His power, He could tell me your life, couldn't He? More I talk to you, more would be revealed. I'm getting weak. But if He will just tell me what you're here for, will you accept it?
You don't look it, to look at, but you're shadowed. Let me tell you. You weaken late in the evening, don't you? Set down, perspiration runs from you at night; it's a tubercular. That's right. And only God can make you well. That is right. Will you believe... That's the first disease that God healed: consumption. Will you believe now, that Jesus Christ has raised from the dead and is here at the platform in a supernatural way? May your eyes be opened as the servant at Dothan when Elijah was standing out.
O Jehovah, eternal God, send Your blessings upon this daughter and heal her and make her well. In Jesus Christ's Name we curse this disease. Amen.
God bless you, sister. Don't doubt, but believe. Don't worry...?...
L-85 Sir, chest trouble, haven't you, setting right here at the end? Tumor, next to you. Yes. You have chest trouble, the colored man setting there. That's right. Just let me see this line. Why do all you colored people setting there, you believe? You believe me to be His prophet? Though being a white man, you believe it anyhow? All right. Look at me and believe, the whole line of you. Sir, you have chest trouble; you have tumor. The lady with her hands up has a nervous trouble. The next lady has a stomach trouble. The next lady has a--a nervous trouble. Raise your hand if it's right. The next lady has arthritis. Is that right? A lady with cancer is setting by me.
He's here, Jesus Christ, God's Son. Do you believe it? And He Who knows, Who's raised from the dead, Who knows all things, Life is here. Death cannot stand in the presence of Life. If you believe this with all your heart... If you'll believe...
You out there with that insomnia, that can't sleep, do you believe God makes you well? Then you can have the same thing. All that believes that Jesus Christ is here and has healed you and regardless of what's wrong with you, stand up on your feet, raise up your hands, and praise Him in Jesus...
