63-0724 - Branham Tabernacle, Jeffersonville, IN (Paragraphs: 213 - 229)
L-214 Then there used to be a little song... I remember the day down there in Chattanooga, Tennessee, when I met this... Not Chattanooga, it was down in Memphis, where I met this little colored woman, you know, standing out there. You've heard me tell about it, you know. Her boy had the venereal disease. And she had this man's shirt tied around her head, leaning over the bench like that. And the Lord stopped that plane there and wouldn't let it go, somehow, and they told me come get... And the Holy Spirit said, "Take a little trip and go down this way."
L-215 And I went walking down through there, singing. I thought, "My, my plane's about ready to leave!"
L-216 Just kept saying, "Move on. Keep on going. Keep on going." Just the early part of my ministry.
L-217 And I looked, leaning across the fence there, and a little bitty shanty, little place there. There was an old sister standing there. Oh, she was... Looked like one of these sisters on the Aunt Jemima pancakes. Great big fat cheeks, you know, and her--her hair, her shirt brought on back. She leaned across the gate like that, and I just... I was singing that little song about... little... What was the... I forget the name of the little song I sang. Now, it's something about--about... It was a little Pentecostal shotty song, a little jubilee.
L-218 And I just quit singing, I got pretty close. And I walked by. And she was standing there and the tears running down them big fat cheeks; I wanted to hug her. She said, "Morning, parson!"
I said, "Auntie, what'd you say?"
She said, "I said, 'Good morning, parson.'"
L-219 I said, "How'd you know I was a parson?" Now, to the people in the South, that means "minister," you know. Said, "Now, how'd you know I was a parson?"
She said, "I knowed you was coming."
L-220 I said, "You knew I was coming?" I thought, "Uh-oh, here it is, see."
L-221 She said, "Yes, sir." Said, "Did--did you ever read the story in the Bible, parson, about that Shunammite woman?"
I said, "Yes, auntie, I've read it."
L-222 She said, "I's was that kind of woman." She said, "And I asked the Lord to give me a baby, me and my husband, and I'd raise it for Him." Said, "He did, He give me the baby." And said, "I raised it, fine boy." Said, "He got with the wrong company, parson. He got a bad disease," and said, "he's laying in there dying. He's been dying for about two days now. He ain't even come to hisself for two days. The doctor man was here and said 'He can't live,' said, 'he's dying.' It was a social disease." And said--said, "I couldn't hardly stand to see my baby die, and I prayed all night." And said, "I said, 'Lord,' said, 'I's was the kind of woman that the Shunammite woman was, but' said, 'where's Your Elisha?'"
L-223 And said, "I went to sleep and I dreamed a dream, that I was standing here at this gate, and I seen you coming down the street with that little hat kind of setting on the side of your head." But said, "There's only one thing," said, "where is that..." Said, "You supposed to have a suitcase in your hand."
I said, "I just left it down there at the Peabody Hotel."
L-224 Said, "I knowed that you was supposed to have a suitcase." And she said, "My baby's dying."
I said, "My name's Branham."
She said, "I's glad to meet you, Parson Branham."
L-225 I said, "I pray for the sick. Have you ever heard of my ministry?"
L-226 Said, "No, I don't believe I ever did." Said, "Won't you come in?" And I walked in.
L-227 That big fellow laying there like that. I was trying to tell her about Divine healing, but that wasn't what was interesting her. She wanted to hear that boy say he was "saved and ready to go." And she say... And God saved him.
L-228 And about a year later I seen him out there as a redcap down at the station. How the Lord does things!
L-229 And then when I got back, after that, I was supposed... that plane was supposed to leave at seven o'clock, and it was about half past nine. And I got a cab and went back. And just as I got in, said, "Last call for flight number so-and-so." The Lord held that plane on the ground there while I went and prayed for that boy. See? That's it.

63-0731 - Marigold Center, Chicago, IL (Paragraphs: 206 - 257)
L-207 Well, everybody reverent now, see. All right, now be real reverent, and pray now. How many is going to be praying? Raise your hands, "I'm going to be praying. I'm going to be praying, believing God."
L-208 Now how many out here doesn't have a prayer card, and you know God is going to, will heal you, let's see your hand. You, you believe God will heal you. Everybody, all right, everywhere now, everyone believe. Just have faith. Don't doubt. Believe God, with all your heart. All right.
Come, lady.
L-209 It's kind of makes everybody hurry and excitable, and the Spirit of the Lord don't like that at all. See? Let's get quiet, see. Quiet yourself, just say, "Lord, here I am, I'm here to serve You. I love You, and I know You will grant my request." That's it.
Now can you hear me? I'll try to stand right here.
L-210 A lady here. Here is a beautiful Bible picture again. Here is a lady that's a colored lady. I'm a white man. Certainly brings out a beautiful Bible picture, to you strangers.
L-211 Jesus met the woman at the well. She was a Samaritan, He was a Jew, and they begin to talk. He said, "Bring Me a drink." Went to talking to her, and He found out what her trouble was. But first He asked her to give a drink, and she wouldn't grant it, because she was of another race. And He let her know, right away, there was no difference in races. [John 4:7]
L-212 And here we are, tonight, after two thousand years. Now, Jesus Christ promised that the things that He did, the believer would do also. Is that right? Everybody believe that? [Congregation says, "Amen."] Saint John, 14th chapter, 12th verse. And, now, why? He was the Word. Is that right? And He said, "If ye abide in Me, My Words in you, ask what you will." Now if this woman is sick, I couldn't heal her. Nobody could heal her; God already done it. If she is a sinner, I couldn't save her. God has already did it; she just has to believe it. [John 14:12]
L-213 But now if Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and give an Eternal sign of His resurrection, in this last days, then He would speak through me if I am His servant and called for this purpose. Now all servants are not called to do that, see, but there is, at least, in a generation, one that did have that. Now, but if this be so, it's to show to the rest of them, in your ministry, that God is with you. [Hebrews 13:8]
L-214 See, He does other things. I have spoke in tongues. I don't, I don't do it all the time. I've done it four or five times in my life. I didn't know what I was doing. Hearing myself speaking one day, get in a thought, look around and seeing what was going on. Heard somebody, sound like speak in German. I looked and see where it was. It was me doing it, myself. See? And I thought I could run through a troop and leap over a wall then. But find out, it was me, I just kept real still till He got finished then. Then, it was the Holy Spirit making intercessions for a woman that later on showed up, and very, very bad with TB, and the Lord healed her.
L-215 But now, here to this audience, this lady is strange. She is a colored lady, and she is somewhere around my age, but I've never seen her. She is just a woman. Now, she is standing here for some reason. I don't know. I--I couldn't tell you. I don't know nothing about her. But if the Holy Spirit can reveal to me what her trouble is, or what she is here for, or--or what she wants, or something like that, or what she has done, or what she ought to have done, or something like that, then, and let her be the judge whether it's right or not. Would that convince everybody that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.]
L-216 We'll talk to each other, just a moment, 'cause, get quiet, you see. The Holy Spirit is very timid, and I just talking to you like our Lord did the woman at the well.
L-217 Now, see, it wouldn't be me, 'cause I don't know you. But, you see, I'm a body of flesh, you're a body of flesh; but inside of you is a spirit and a soul, inside of me is a spirit and a soul. And then when this Spirit inside of me, if it be the Spirit of Christ, see, then, and a gift that I was born...
L-218 Just like you'd go to sleep and dream anything, you would dream a dream. Now, see, this five senses has to come inactive, and then you are over here in dream land. And then when these five senses come active again, you're awake, see, 'cause your subconscious is way out from your first conscious.
L-219 But when they're both right together, you don't go to sleep, you just break over into that. See? You're still in your five senses. You understand? That's a gift, where, it's a prophetic gift, that a vindication that Christ is still the same. See? See?
L-220 We have ministers who is trained in the Word. We have different ones, man like Oral Roberts, who just lays hands on, and shakes the people, and say, "Bless God, you just receive it." See, and he is just one of them burly type with it. See, that's God's man, see, being there is other type that don't do that, but they do something else. All of it is gifts of the Spirit; apostles, prophets, and pastors. You believe in that, don't you? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.]
L-221 Do you believe God sent me to do that? [The sister says, "I know it."--Ed.] You do. Thank you, sister. Yes, sir. Why did I call you 'sister'? Because, when you said that, I felt the Spirit say that's right.
L-222 Now you are here, and I see you now; people can still hear me. The woman is having a sleepless time. She can't sleep. That's right. Very getting sick, too. Can't hardly eat, you're getting very sick. Just... And you're afraid it's gallstones. That's right. That's exactly. You're right. Sick, nausea feeling. That's right. Then you--you are...
L-223 There is somebody else that you're interested in. That's your, that's your husband. And he has a--a--a kind of a--a nervous, mental illness that's kind of a real mental nervous. And he is bothered with some kind of a trouble he is in. He is trying to get something, something, a--a business deal, it's a pension or something he is trying to get. That's right, a pension he is trying to get. That's it. Yes, sir, a pension. And then there is...
L-224 I see a little boy, is about twelve years old, or something like that. He's just a little fellow, and he is really not your son. He's a--he's a... You've raised him, and there is something you think, that, he, something has went wrong with him. He isn't. He is just a little boy. He'll be all right. Sure. It's okay. Believe the right thing. Everything will be all right. Go, believing it. [Congregation rejoices.--Ed.] God bless you, sister.
L-225 By the way, do you believe God can tell me who you are? Do you believe that God can tell me who you are, lady? Mrs. Red, that's who you are. That's right. [Congregation rejoices--Ed.]
L-226 Sonny, it's all right. You mind your auntie. She thought something had happened, but it hasn't. You're just a little boy. You don't mean to do that. Go ahead, you'll be all right. Amen.
L-227 My, how the Holy Spirit would like to break through on that! See?
L-228 How do you do? If the Holy Spirit can tell me what your trouble is, you believe me then, will you? [The sister, says, "I believe."--Ed.] You believe. All right. You have a--a nervous condition. You have roaring in your head. ["That's right."] "Oo-oo-oo," going like that all the time. That's right. Then you was examined for a growth, and they found the growth is in the rectum. Do you believe with all your heart now? ["Yes."] That's--that's right. ["Amen."] Go on your road, believing, and you'll get well. Believe. Got what you want? All right. ["Amen."] See?...?...
L-229 You believe with all your heart? [The sister says, "I do."--Ed.] Just have faith. Don't doubt. Believe that Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. Is a younger person that you're here for. No, it's two. You got two daughters, and they both have like a nervous break, like. That's right. Lord God, be merciful to them children. Do you believe if I'll just... If I will speak His Word, do you believe they'll come out of it? ["I know it."] Then go, receive it. God bless you. [Congregation rejoices.]
"If thou canst believe, all things are possible."
L-230 You believe in it, don't you? You believe with all your heart? Do you believe that baby with that throat trouble will get all right? All right, you can have it, sir. I see that woman flashing here, and back there, and here, and I thought, "What was it?" Setting there praying for her baby. All right, it'll get over it. It'll be all right. Don't doubt it.
L-231 Do you believe with all your heart? Do you believe that Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever? If the Lord Jesus will reveal to me what your trouble is, you'll believe Him? You have a nervous condition, complications; course, a woman your age. But, yet, here is the great thing, it's a growth. Do you believe God can tell me where the growth is? It's on your left breast. That's right? All right. Go, believe it, and it'll come off.
Have faith in God. Don't doubt.
L-232 I seen something blessed happen, and something horrible happen, just then. "Obedience is better than sacrifice, hearkening, unto the fats of rams." Is that right? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] Lord Jesus, be merciful. My, oh, my! Obedience, sincerity and obedience; how the Lord Jesus did something just then! I'm going to tell you just in a minute.
Just believe. Don't doubt. [I Samuel 15:22]
L-233 You believe God will heal you there, sister with the little yellow dress on, sitting there praying? Okay, it's alright. All right, you receive it.
Just have faith. Don't doubt. Believe.
L-234 Sitting right back there in that second row, you got throat trouble, too, that lady looking right there at me. Do you believe that Jesus Christ will make you well? You do? Yes. You had to give it up, give somebody a place to get out. Five minutes more, and you would have been healed. He missed it, but you got it. You can have your request now. It leaves you.
L-235 Do you believe that God can make you well? [The sister says, "Yes, sir."--Ed.] Do you believe God can tell me what your trouble is? ["Yes."] Got diabetes. ["Yes."] Your husband is here with it, too, isn't he? ["Yes, sir."] That's right. Both of you be well. Go, believe it with all your heart.
L-236 Asthmatic, nervous. Do you believe God can make you well? You believe it with all your heart? Let me lay hands on you as you pass by. In the Name of Jesus Christ, may she be healed. Grant it.
L-237 Arthritis. Do you believe that God will make you well? [The sister says, "Yes, I do."--Ed.] Well, just go, say, "Thank You, Lord God. I believe with all my heart." Yes, sir.
L-238 Oh, my! Nervous, arthritis, stomach. Just believe with all your heart. Go on, say, "Thank You, Lord, for making me well."
L-239 You know, the blood is where our life is, isn't it? But God can heal anything (do you believe that?), blood, anything else. All right, it's over. Go, say, "Thank You, Lord." Go, believe with all your heart.
L-240 What if I just laid hands on you, and said, "The Lord bless you," would you believe you would be healed? Come through, then, see. In the Name of Jesus Christ, God, make him well. Have faith.
L-241 I never seen so many people this... This lady here has arthritis, too, complications, things. Yeah, that's right. Do you believe God makes you well? All right. Go on, say, "Thank You, Lord Jesus."
L-242 How many out there wants to believe now? "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God." [Matthew 4:4]
L-243 Do you believe that the mouth of God said this, the...? Jesus Christ is God in flesh. We know that. No argument about that. He wasn't just a prophet; He was God, God made manifest in the flesh. The last thing He said, according to the Gospel, when He left the earth, "These signs shall follow them that believe. If they lay their hands on the sick, they shall recover." Do you believe that with all your heart? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] Now how many believers are here, raise up your hands. All right. [Mark 16:17]
L-244 Now I want you to do something. How many here has something wrong with them, that they want to be prayed for? Raise up your hands. Now, looks like everyone. Now, here is what you do. You exercise your faith, I'll exercise my faith, and we'll make a union (it's getting late) by God. And then will you pray for the person that's got their hands laid on you? Because, they are going to be praying for you, see, you.
L-245 Like, like here was someone, they had their hands on me, I have my hands on them; I'm praying for them, they're praying for me. I'm saying, "Lord, I am a believer. This lady, this gentleman, this boy, girl, whatever, is suffering. Please, Dear God. I suffer, I know what they're going through with. Heal them, Dear God."
L-246 Be deeply sincere now, be deeply sincere, and just pray like that you would want them to pray for you. See? Do to others as you would have others do to you. Now you pray for the person you put your hand on, just the way that you would want Jesus to pray for you, see, and watch what happens. See, God's Word can't fail. Is that right? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] It's the Truth. It, it just can't fail.
L-247 Now, now first thing we do, let's just wait just a moment and confess all of our unbelief. Let... Confess all of our sins, confess all that we've ever done, that's wrong. Let's just say, "Lord Jesus, forgive me." Let... I want this to be a real meeting where Jesus Christ can be manifested, Jesus Christ to be magnified. Now while I'm talking to you, just confess everything, say, "Lord, I--I've had a lot of doubts. But right here in Your Presence tonight, when I--I stand and see the very thing that's totally impossible without You, no one can do that."
L-248 You'd be ashamed to call it "an evil spirit," 'cause that's unforgivable, see. See, Jesus said so. Call the work of the Holy Spirit, that the Bible said He would do, then call it an evil spirit, then it's... then that's unforgivable. See?
L-249 So you say, "I'm standing right here now, knowing that, setting here," whatever position you're in, "knowing that, that--that--that You're here. Why, you couldn't do these things... And now, our Brother Branham, he just has faith to believe that Your Word is true, and he has a gift. I have a gift, too, a gift of Your love. I have a gift of Your Spirit in me. I have a gift in me, and in that gift is healing. Now, I'm--I'm asking healing for my sick friends sitting here. I'm asking healing, and they're going to ask healing for me. Now You forgive me of my sins. And, Lord Jesus, if I've done or said anything wrong, forgive me. Reveal it to me, Lord, I'll go make it right. If You'll just reveal it and show me what I've done wrong, I'll go make it right."
L-250 And I pray now for mercy for this audience. Grant it, Lord. Have mercy upon the sick and the afflicted. Those people are here praying. They believe. They've seen You present. I seen You, Lord. All of us has seen the very evidence of the living God.
L-251 We've far forgot. We've went so much hard, Lord, on the other side, on the hybrid side, denominationals, and creeds, and big churches, and the care of the day. We Pentecostals, Lord, has seen You do so much, till we just harden ourself away from You, almost. It's--it's pitiful, Father. Forgive us of this thing. We've seen so much as it gradually come up to this, until we've, well, we--we've just forgotten the blessings, Lord. Forgive us, and help us. Will You, Lord?
L-252 Now have mercy, and may the great Holy Spirit, that's present now, take charge of every believer in here. And now, as Your servant, I pray for every sick person here. I--I ask You, Lord, to charge the hands that'll be laid upon the sick. Let--let the power of the Holy Ghost be upon each one of these men, women, boys and girls, as we're setting together, Lord. People setting here, sick, Lord that they'll... They come out here to be well. Let them come tomorrow night, well. Grant it, Lord, please do. Hear my prayer. I--I pray with all my heart, that You'll do it, confessing everything that I know that's wrong. And now help us, and now let the Holy Ghost take charge. And these people laying their hands upon one another, may that they be made well, right now. Grant it, Father, through Jesus Christ's Name.
L-253 And now, Satan, I charge you, by the Blood of Jesus Christ, that all-sufficient Blood; that through that Life that was in that Blood, that's now in our hearts, we've been changed from what we once was, to Christians. We once was doubters, now we're believers. Our sins are under the Blood.
L-254 "He that will confess his sins shall have forgiveness." We have confessed our sins, and we have forgiveness. Now we stand, no more... Our sins are in the Sea of Forgetfulness. We can no more be accused of sin. We have confessed it. We made things right. And now the great chasm, that was between us and God, has been taken away. God put the sin in the Sea of Forgetfulness. He could never even remember us anymore as sinners. We are no longer sinners. We are sons and daughters, and now we're here for deliverance for the flesh. And because we are believers, the Word said, the Word, the Word that Christ left us, said, "These signs shall follow them that believe. If they lay their hands on the sick, they shall recover." And this we are doing, by faith we are doing it, in the Name of Jesus Christ. [I John 1:9], [Mark 16:17-18]
L-255 Now, each person in here, lay your hands on somebody by you. Lay your hands on somebody by you, and now say:
L-256 Satan, I charge thee. [Congregation says, "Satan, I charge thee."--Ed.] I charge thee, Satan, ["I charge thee, Satan,"] in the Name ["in the Name"] of Jesus Christ, ["of Jesus Christ,"] let loose of my friend. ["let loose of my friend."] Come out of here. ["Come out of here."] You are defeated. ["You are defeated."] My friend is well. ["My friend is well."] I believe ["I believe"] Jesus Christ now makes me well, ["Jesus Christ now makes me well,"] to honor Him, to bring praise. ["to honor Him, to bring praise."]
L-257 Believe it with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and God Almighty will grant it. God bless you.

63-0801 - Marigold Center, Chicago, IL (Paragraphs: 178 - 206)
L-179 All right, it's ten o'clock. We don't have to have a prayer line up here. We can have it out there. Do you believe it? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.]
L-180 How many in here that believes that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, that believes that that little woman that touched His garment with her finger then, He was--He was physical, she touched His garment. There is a paradox. He could not feel it, and He turned around and said, "Who touched Me?" And she couldn't hide herself. And He told of her troubles, and her faith healed her. [Luke 8:45]
L-181 And the Bible says, today, in Hebrews, that, "He is a High Priest that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmities." How many sick people believe that? Raise your hand. All right, you believe it, and let's see now if that's true. [Hebrews 4:15]
L-182 You say, "Brother Branham, how does that come?" Just believing the Word just the way It's wrote. Don't take any hearsay, what this guy says It's this way, and this guy says It's that way. You believe It just the way It's wrote.
L-183 If He has got to judge you by the way It's wrote, then why take somebody else's interpretation for It, 'cause that's the way it's going to be judged. Just That, That's His standard. He has watched over His Word. There is nothing wrong with it. That's just exactly the Word. That's what we will be judged by, is This, is God's Word.
L-184 "And if ye abide in Me," that's the faith, "My Word abide in you," 'cause He is the Word, "then ask what you will." [John 15:7]
L-185 Now you touch His garment, say, "Lord Jesus, I believe with all my heart that we're living in the last days. I believe You are the same God that performed all these miracles that our pastor has showed us, tonight, in the Word. I believe that You are the High Priest. Lord, let me touch Your garment. Then You speak through this brother, and--and claims that You speak through him. And, then, he doesn't know me, but You know me." And then see if He isn't the same God of miracles, and there be a paradox again, an unsearchable thing that man cannot discern and tell.
L-186 Will you believe it? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] If He will do it, then we know it'll be a paradox. Is that right? ["Amen."] I was going to have a prayer line; I got so caught away on that till I--I--I just got away from it, and time is just about gone. You believe. Let's start over... I can't...
L-187 I have to separate you. Let's start on this side here. Somebody in this way. How many over here knows that I don't know you or know nothing about you, raise up your hands; and you're sick, you know that you want to ask God? All right.
L-188 Some of you believe, just--just take this with all your heart. "Lord Jesus, the same yesterday, today, and forever! Let me touch You, Lord. My faith is moving to You yonder on the right hand of God, sitting in Majesty. And Your Holy Spirit, that was in You, is here tonight. Let me just touch, by faith, Lord." Then see if He is still the author of paradox, to bring things to pass that's absolutely unknown. Just be reverent.
L-189 Here, see this right here? It's a colored lady sitting right back over here. She is bothered with a kidney condition. She has just had an operation. I don't know the lady.
L-190 I'm a stranger to you. Is that right, lady? But that is true, isn't it? Do you believe that the same God that could tell that little woman that touched His garment over there, and--and on the other side of the lake, do you believe that that's the same God? You couldn't touch me, physically, you know. So I'll just... And I don't know you. So there is a High Priest, because He said He was the High Priest. Is that right? And you believe it. When you were there praying for it to be you, something struck you, and immediately I called about it. Is that right? All right.
L-191 This operation you had didn't seem to be too successful. You're not getting well, too, and you're alarmed about it. And you come here tonight for that same purpose. If the Lord Jesus will reveal to me who you are, like He did Simon that come up, would you believe me to be His prophet, His servant? You believe that? Mrs. Pigrum. That's right. Now you believe with all your heart, you go home and be well. You're going to get well because your faith makes you well.
L-192 Do you believe with all your heart? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] How about in this section that's in here, somewhere, somebody believe?
L-193 A man sitting out here on the end, he is suffering with trouble with his eyes. I don't know whether he knows... Yes, he's caught me now. He feels the Spirit. Yes, can you see that Light above the man? Mr. Otis, that's your name. I'm a total stranger to you, but you're worried about your eyes. Christ makes you well, your faith.
L-194 Now ask the man if I ever seen him, knowed anything about him, or this woman, or wherever it is. There is a paradox. Do you believe that? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] He is the same yesterday, today. He promised, "The works that I do, shall you do also." That's how He identified Himself of being Messiah. Is that right? ["Amen."] Well, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And you know it can't be me. I'm no Messiah. I'm just a man, your brother. But it's the Holy Ghost here, that is the Messiah. That's the Leader. He is the One who knows. I don't know them people; they know it. [John 14:12]
L-195 Here, I want to show you. There is a colored woman sitting right up there on the side, up there, suffering with a thyroid trouble. Do you believe God can tell me who you are? Mrs. Kelly. [The sister cries, "That's me!"--Ed.] That's right. All right.
L-196 Do you believe with all your heart? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.]
L-197 Mr. Swanson back there, with nervous trouble, do you believe that God can make you well? If you believe it with all your heart! All right, you can have it. God makes you well.
L-198 Do you believe it? I don't know them people. Ask them if I know them. It's a paradox.
L-199 Just a minute. Here is this Light, It's standing over a woman. I know who she is. She is setting right here. Don't worry, Mrs. Collins, stop bothering about that, making yourself sick. It'll all come out all right. God leads. Now, I know that woman. I know who she is. She is from down Indiana, or Kentucky. I know her. Her husband there, is a member of my church, he's a--he's a deacon down there, a fine man. But there is that Light. Don't you see It right over her? She has been bothered, she is sick, and she is upset about something that she don't know whether to do or not. You just remember, quit fretting, sister, it'll be all right. He knows all about it. He'll lead if you'll just let Him go.
L-200 Amen! The same yesterday, today, and forever, He's a paradox! We're grateful for it. Do you believe it? [Congregation rejoices--Ed.]
L-201 Stand on your feet then and accept it, and say, "Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ, perform in me, and bring glory and Your blessings and power upon me. Let there come a paradox in my heart right now. I am believing. I am believing." With all your heart, believe it.
L-202 Raise your hands while you sing this old hymn, "I love Him, I love Him because He first loved me." Close your eyes. Close all your own thoughts, and just let Jesus Christ come into you, and each one of you will be healed and filled with the Holy Ghost.
L-203 One paradox, tonight, would set this, ought to set this place afire. Jesus Christ is here. Who can explain that? Ask these people, go to them. You've got their names and things, on this tape. Go, ask them. See, I know nothing about them. What does it do? God, in this intellectual age...
L-204 "Where is any rain in the sky," said the science of Noah's day, "where is it up there?" God promised it! It come.
L-205 How can these things happen? I don't know. God promised it! He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hallelujah! Now I love Him, I love Him because He first loved me, and has opened my blinded eyes, that I could come in and see His Presence and know that He is here. Amen and amen!
L-206 Let's just raise our hands and worship Him now as we sing it. Glory to God! Thanks be to the Lord Jesus Christ, for His goodness and mercy! God bless you.

63-0802 - Marigold Center, Chicago, IL (Paragraphs: 171 - 202)
L-172 Brother, there wasn't nothing wrong with him. He said, "It's a strange..." Said, "I'm no theologian. I cannot argue your Scriptures that you're talking about. But you said that you know God healed; but, this Man, you know not whence He come from. Now, it's a strange thing, that a Man can come here and can open my blinded eyes; and you, the leaders of religion, and don't know from whence He come." Brother, he was a theologian, in my book. He--he had, he had an argument the rest of them couldn't settle, that's all. "How that you say you don't have no record of His--His--His coming, you don't have no record on your book, of His schooling, where His education come from, or nothing. You don't know from whence He come, and yet the Man that give me my sight." Pretty good argument, wasn't it? Yes, sir. [John 9:26-35]
L-173 Philip, when he stood there and seen Jesus of Nazareth tell Simon what his name was, and his father's name, he was very persistent. He had a self-starched friend that he wanted to tell about, and he went and found Nathanael. [John 1:43-51]
L-174 When Nathanael, standing there before the members of his church, and the high priest, and the Sanhedrin's, and all of them standing around. When Jesus looked at him, and said, "Behold an Israelite in whom there is no guile." [John 1:47]
L-175 "Oh, I better shut up now. Be careful, there stands the bishop, there stands the general overseer, there stands the pastor, there stands all my relation. I better keep still, just act like I don't know nothing about it"? See? No, no.
L-176 Something had happened. Philip had showed him a seed. He said, "Rabbi!"
L-177 They standing there, say, "This man is Beelzebub. Don't listen to That. He's a fortuneteller. He's a devil. Don't listen to Him." But Philip, quickly, or... [Matthew 12:24]
L-178 Nathanael recognized Him as a Rabbi, a teacher. Said, "Rabbi, when did You ever see me?"
L-179 He said, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the tree." [John 1:46-50]
L-180 "Now what am I going to do? Here is the Scripture, says that that's the sign of the Messiah." He run to Him and fell down, and he said, "Rabbi, You're the Son of God! You're the King of Israel. I don't care what the rest of them has got to say about it. You are the Son of God, the King of Israel."
L-181 The little woman at the well, when she was told of what was wrong with her. Now, you know, if you happen to know the Eastern...
L-182 Is there missionaries here, ever been in the East? Well, you understand that a woman like that hasn't got no authority at all, to speak to men anywhere. That's right. It's still that way. She does not, cannot speak to men, by no mean, and especially on religious arguments and discussions.
L-183 But, oh, man, could you keep her quiet? It is like a--a dry house on fire, in a high wind. You couldn't stop her. She said, "Come, see a Man, He told me the things I've done. Isn't this the very Messiah?" Now I got...
I'm closing now. I've just got to quit. [John 4:29]
L-184 About four or five years ago, I saw a vision, to send me down in Mexico. You take the Business Men's Voice that... See, before you can print anything, you have to be able to back that up. Now, you can say it, but don't you print it unless you can back it up, 'cause it's printed matter. I was having...
L-185 I come down on ropes, in the back of the arena, the pen where we was at, was having about ten thousand a night, conversions to Christ. And then as I looked, Billy come up to me and he said, "Daddy, you see all that going on, over there on the other side, about a hundred and fifty yards?" Said, "That's one little woman." He said, "She is not as big as a bar of soap, hardly, little bitty thing." Said, "She has got a dead baby under her arm." And said...
L-186 I call the man Mañana, "tomorrow," he was so slow, that come and got me. He was supposed to get me at seven o'clock, and he got me at nine. Me walking up-and-down the floors.
L-187 And he had done give out all the prayer cards, and didn't have no more. I had only give him about fifteen or twenty, a night, 'cause that's all I could get to. Cause, if you'd give them a card, they--they don't understand like you, you can't talk to them. So they was--they was just... I give them about ten or fifteen, whatever, that's all I'd give out. Well, they didn't have any more prayer cards.
L-188 And said, "She didn't get in with that baby, and didn't get no prayer card." And said, "Uh, we got about a hundred and fifty, two hundred ushers, or maybe more, standing down there, and they can't hold that little woman. She runs under their legs, up over the top of their back, and everything else. She's got this dead baby." She seen that blind man the night before, receive his sight, so she said she wanted to get in.
L-189 I said, and said, I said, "Billy, I--I can't help it." I was talking.
L-190 I said, "Brother Jack Moore," I said, "go over there. She don't know who I am." They couldn't never see me, way back out like that. And I said, "Go over there, and go down and pray for the baby, and she'll think it's just me, and that's all."
L-191 He said then, "All right, Brother Branham." He started over that way.
L-192 And I turned around, I said, "Now as I was saying, faith is the..." I looked out there in front of me, and there was a little Mexican baby sitting right out in the middle of the air there, just laughing, no teeth, little, nursing baby, like. And I looked again.
L-193 Brother Espinoza, many of you know Brother Espinoza, "So what's the matter?"
L-194 I said, "I see a vision." I said, "Wait a minute, Brother Moore." All of you know Jack Moore, I'm sure, businessmen. I said, "Wait a minute, Brother Moore. Just a minute. Billy, go bring the woman here."
Said, "Daddy, she ain't got a prayer card."
I said, "Don't make any difference; bring her here."
L-195 And, she, they let her through. Here come a real pretty little woman, and her... The rain, just raining, and been raining all afternoon, and them people standing there. And her--her pretty hair hanging down her sides, and her face, was all wet. And she was crying, and--and the tears running down her cheeks. And she come running up there, soaking wet, and a little blue-looking blanket wrapped around a little form, and she was holding it out like this. And she fell down on her knees and begin to cry out something, "Padre, padre!"
L-196 And I took her, I said, "Stand up." Brother Espinoza told her. And she had the little baby like that, holding it out, just like I'd hold that handkerchief, only was laying across her arms like this.
L-197 And I said, "Heavenly Father, I don't know whether this is the baby or not. I just saw a little baby, and thinking maybe this was it, being that this happened the way it has. I--I lay my hands upon it and ask for life to return, in the Name of the Lord Jesus." And the little baby let out a kick, and begin to scream as hard as it could. See?
L-198 And I said, "Brother Espinoza, don't you say anything about that now. Don't give that to the businessmen, or any of them, until you get a signed statement from her doctor."
L-199 And the doctor signed this statement, that, "the baby died with pneumonia" in his office "that morning at nine o'clock," and this was pretty near eleven o'clock at night, been dead all that time.
L-200 Why? She was persistent. She believed, if God could give a blind man his sight... Glory to God! If God can give a blind man his sight, God could give life to the baby; 'cause the same God that give sight to the blind, give life to the baby. Why? She was perseverant. Three hundred ushers, nothing could stop her. She was determined, 'cause something anchored.
L-201 She had never seen any of these things that you all see. The only thing, somebody told her, that day, that a blind man, that lived down the street from where she was, had received his sight; had been blind for about ten years, with glaucoma in his eyes. And that day, he was walking down the street, crying, waving his hands, and she saw him.
L-202 And her baby died. She picked up the baby from the doctor's office, and took out. Stood in that rain all day long, waiting for the opportunity. And when she didn't get a prayer card, she still was persistent. She didn't know nothing; she was a Roman Catholic. The only thing she knowed, that she had to get to some man.

63-0803E - Lane Tech High School, Chicago, IL (Paragraphs: 186 - 207)
L-187 Now be reverent a moment. And may the God of Heaven help me, that, you on this sermon that I've preached, that when... Isaiah, that believer, when he come to the place that he had seen the failure of man who tried to represent God, then he saw God come down, and a reality to it, then he cried, "Woe is me!" Because, God had made the promise like that. He made it to each generation. He is making it to us, in this our generation. We see everything exactly in order for His Coming. [Isaiah 6:5]
L-188 Now do you believe He is here? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] Now may He help me.
L-189 And I want to know how many sick people is out there, raise up your hands. You have faith. And now I ask you to take this Scripture, Hebrews, that, "He is the High Priest of our confession, and He can be touched by the feeling of our infirmities." [Hebrews 4:15]
L-190 Now you pray, "God, let me touch You. And then You, in return, speak back through Brother Branham, like You did through your real Son. He is just an adopted child, like I am. But You've promised that in this last days You would do it. Now, Lord, let me see something real." And you pray.
L-191 May God of Heaven, upon the basis of my heart being poured out to Chicago and wherever I go, may He confirm it to be so.
L-192 That man that just raised back in his seat, he is a big fellow, set right straight in front of me here, that got his hands up. No, the one back, white shirt on. It's not exactly you yourself, but you're praying for somebody else. It's a minister. Do you believe I can tell you what's wrong with him? He's got heart trouble. If that's right, wave your hand. Believe for him now.
L-193 If you'll just believe it! But you've got to believe it. If you don't believe it, it won't work. The man in sincerity.
L-194 Here, here, here sets a woman sitting right down here by this end, second woman back in the second row here, right here. She is suffering with a colon trouble. It's an infection in her colon. The little lady on the end there, kind of grayheaded, stand on your feet so the people can see you. Yes, that's you. That's the truth. It's an infection in the colon, and also you have other things wrong, complications. If that's right, raise up your hand.
L-195 Now who did she touch? Not me. She touched Him. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
L-196 Here is a lady setting right back here. She has got a trouble, roaring in her head, nervous, complication. Mrs. Pfeiffer, you believe with all your heart. Stand up on your feet. I don't know you, but Jesus Christ gives you your desire. I've never seen her in my life; she is a stranger to me. It'll stop. Don't worry. Your faith healed you.
L-197 Do you believe? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] Don't you see that's what He promised?
L-198 That man setting back there. There, don't you see that Light? He is very bad. He has had a tumor in his throat. He has had an operation; the doctor don't give him much hope for it. Do you believe that God will make you well? Do you accept it, Mr. Stonelake? Do you believe with all your heart? All right, stand up on your feet, Jesus Christ will make you well.
"If thou canst believe!" [Mark 9:23]
L-199 This lady laying over here on this stretcher. Of course, you have no prayer card, there is no such a thing now. You are paralyzed. Do you believe this to be the Truth? Do you believe what you've heard tonight is the Truth? If you lay there, you'll die. But Jesus Christ can heal a paralytic. Do you believe He'll do it? If you'll believe it and will accept it, then you can get up out of that cot and go home, in the Name of Jesus Christ, and be made well.
L-200 There she comes, raising right out of it. Somebody give her a little lift there now, she is paralyzed. Somebody... There she comes by herself, up out of the chair, made whole, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
L-201 Do you believe with all your heart? [Congregation rejoices--Ed.] Then stand on your feet and...
L-202 There comes a paralyzed woman walking through the audience!...?...
Speak, my Lord, anoint.
Do you believe with all your heart? [Congregation rejoices--Ed.]
L-203 There is another man, that was paralyzed, out of the cot; come up out of the cot, glorifying God!
Do you believe? [Congregation rejoices--Ed.]
L-204 Where is there another one? All the cots are empty, everything! Everybody is on their feet, praising God!
When the coal of Fire had touched the prophet! [Isaiah 6:1-8]
L-205 There is a paralyzed woman walking up to the platform! Praise be to God! Give Him glory and praise!
L-206 Here is another man coming up the platform. Look at him walking up the steps, Brother Fitch.
L-207 Let's give God praise. Raise up your hands and give God the glory. [Congregation continues praising God--Ed.]

63-0804E - Marigold Center, Chicago, IL (Paragraphs: 158 - 187)
L-159 Now I'm going to look and see who I see that I know, 'cause I've got some people here, setting in here, from the tabernacle down home. And one of them I've just recognized, is, she comes down there, is Mrs.... Her name use to be Griffin. I forget her name now. It's Sister Rosella here, she and her mother setting here. The alcoholic of Chicago, and the Lord healed her in the meeting. All of you, nearly, know Rosella here; the missions, and so forth, to where she's went, testifying. A total alcoholic, and now a lovely Christian, and was called just by the same Shekinah Glory. It's lasting, too, isn't it, Rosella? [Sister Rosella says, "Amen."--Ed.]
L-160 And now looking around again. I'm not positive, but I think I know this lady setting here, right here, the second woman right here, with her hands up to her mouth. I can't call her name. Yes, you. Don't you come down to the tabernacle? Is it Mrs. Peckinpaugh? Is that right? That's what I thought it was. All right.
L-161 And then right, third woman back, is Mrs. Way, the wife of this man that dropped dead in the church the other day, with a heart attack, and was called back to life, sitting here.
L-162 Did anybody ever see anybody that was raised from the dead? If you never did, raise up your hands, never seen anybody was raised from the dead. Stand up, Mr. Way. [Congregation rejoices--Ed.]
L-163 I was preaching just like now, the Shekinah Glory present, and all of a sudden, in a heart attack, his eyes went back. Now you can close your eyes, but you can't throw your eyes back. His wife there is a many-year, registered nurse, she screamed when she caught his heart and seen he was gone. I quietened the audience, went down. I had been speaking. Laid my hands upon him, and felt. I looked up at her, and she said, "He's gone." And I tried his eyes, I seen his eyes way... the back part here, the skin part, turned back like that. He had no more pulse than this has.
L-164 I said, "Lord Jesus," and He come on the scene.
L-165 I laid my hand upon him. And he said, tried to speak, "Brother Branham..." He was so weak he couldn't get... And here he stands, tonight, trophy of the grace of God.
L-166 Now that is, at least, five or six definite cases of being dead, sometime for six or eight hours, has come back to life, by the Presence of Jesus Christ, through prayer.
L-167 I'm not too positive, of a little lady setting here, I believe she is one. I know you. I don't know what your name is, but know you. Right?
L-168 And then Brother Brown, I believe that's right, if I'm not mistaken, setting... Is that Brother Brown? No, I don't think it is. I'm sorry. All right, that's about it, I believe.
L-169 You pray now, say, "Lord Jesus, let me touch Your garment, You're a High Priest. And I--I know that Brother Branham, that he don't know me, he don't know nothing about me. But You know me. And if You'll just let me touch Your garment. I--I want to be well." Now you pray in that prayer. [Hebrews 4:15], [Matthew 9:20], [Matthew 14:36], [Mark 6:56], [Luke 8:44]
L-170 And I'm asking God this. Lord Jesus, and in closing of this meeting tonight, that the people, may strangers within the gate, and they may not understand, but let them know that the Message is true. Come, Lord Jesus, and grant unto us. And may we submit ourselves, together, that the unbeliever or these new-born Christians might see that the Shekinah Glory of God is here now, identified by a picture, also by science, in the churches around the world. You're the same yesterday, today, and forever. We believe You.
L-171 Let the Lord Jesus... [A sister begins speaking in another tongue. Blank.spot.on.tape--Ed.] Praise the Lord. Now God has identified Himself here. Now, I believe that to be true.
L-172 Now let someone through this sections this way, and then we'll come in this way, then so forth, around. And you just believe that... Now don't nobody move around now. Be real reverent.
L-173 Now I don't say that He'll do it. I'm trusting He will. But if He will do it, won't that be the vindication of this Word, that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever? Was that how you people knew He was the Messiah at the beginning? Then He is identifying Himself in His church, tonight, that He is the same Messiah, if you'll only believe. [Hebrews 13:8]
L-174 Now just pray. I got to consecrate one way... concentrate, rather, one way, just look at the people and see. I--I...
L-175 Yes, thanks be to God, here It is. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I take every spirit in here under my control, for the Glory of God. Now you know what that means. Be reverent.
L-176 That Light hangs over a little woman setting right back here, a young woman, wearing a pink dress. She is praying about her husband. He is backslid, setting right back by a post. He will believe it, accept it, and God will perform that miracle for you if you'll believe it.
L-177 Lady setting next to you is wondering about her husband... No, it's her brother that's going to be admitted to the hospital, tomorrow, Veterans Hospital. If you'll believe also, it will work for you, also, if you can believe it.
L-178 Here is a man. The Lord bless you. Just accept it. You can have what you ask for.
L-179 There is a man that's been operated on, for cancer, setting over here. If you'll believe, God will make you well. Do you believe it? Mr. Wilcox, stand up on your feet, accept your healing. The Heavenly Father knows I never seen the man, in my life. That's right. Don't worry, sir. Are we strangers; wave your hand to one another. That's right.
L-180 What is it? The Shekinah Glory; Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. [Hebrews 13:8]
L-181 The colored lady here with a hernia, complications. Mrs. Burnet, do you believe that the Lord Jesus will make you well? Then you can have it. Amen. I never seen the woman, in my life.
L-182 There's an asthma, setting back there, suffering, that man looking right at me. Oh, if I can be... The Lord will tell me who it... Mr. McGill, stand up on your feet and accept your healing, in the Name of Jesus Christ. I never seen the man, in my life. God Almighty knows.
L-183 Another one here. Here is a man over here, got a blood clot right around his heart, setting on the back row there. Do you believe that God Almighty will heal you and make you well? It's the only hope you have, of living.
L-184 This man setting right down here at the end, is praying for a man that's in Norway, praying for his friend. The man himself is suffering with a back trouble. That's true, isn't it? Raise up your hand. That's it, you have what you want.
L-185 Call on Him! He is here. He is in the ship. Do you believe Him? [Congregation rejoices--Ed.]
L-186 Stand up on your feet, then, and say, "Lord Jesus Christ, I'll call on You now. I believe You. I'm calling You in on the scene, for myself." Raise up your hand, and in your own way, cry out your need. It's you. You're the one that's sick. Here He is, He's properly identified Himself, He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. Glory to God!
Heavenly Father, help just now in this time of need.
L-187 I challenge Satan, in the Presence of the identified Jesus Christ. For these handkerchiefs, and for these people; Satan, you can't hold them. Jesus Christ rebuke you! The people believes that He's in the ship. He's here now. His Shekinah Glory is upon us. Come out of here, Satan! I challenge you, in Jesus' Name!
