July 2013 Newsletter: If Thou shall Confess with Thy Mouth the Lord Jesus and Shall Believe in Thine Heart

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” [Romans 10:9]
“Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus” [Hebrews 3:1]
“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised ;)” [Hebrews 10:23]
"Now, remember, ever redemptive blessing has already been purchased. The price is paid, there is only one way that you'll ever be able to receive it, is to believe it and to accept it. "He's the High Priest of our confession." The Hebrew says there, the Hebrew letter, says, "He's the High Priest of our profession." To profess, and confess, is the same thing, of course. So we... He's the High Priest of our confession, therefore He cannot do anything for us until first we confess that He has done it. And then when we confess it, then He is the High Priest, a mediator, to go to work on that and make it right. So we pray, trusting in God tonight, in His kindness and mercy, that He will give to us His abundance of grace, tonight. And now, remember, you must accept it.” [Calling Jesus On The Scene, Denham Springs LA, 64-0319]
“But let this be the time that they'll say like Peter, "At Thy Word, Lord. I'm going to let down the net. I'm going to trust You right tonight. This is the night. This is the time. From this night, I'll trust You. I'll set my affections on things above." We know that Thy Word says that You're the High Priest setting at the right hand of His Majesty to make intercessions upon our confession. What we say that You've done, that's what You do. But if we not... Done do confess it, if we're afraid, then You can't help us. So we pray, God that You'll give each man and woman, boy, or girl in here tonight, courage, real conviction, faith, that'll look up there and see that Son of God setting there in His Majesty, the power of His Spirit moving in His Church, then not be afraid. Say, "By His stripes I'm healed, and I go believing it." Then You're the High Priest. You'll start confessing that in heaven just when we confess it here. But You can't do it, until we first say You've done it. For it's a confession, and that means "say the same thing." We have to say what You say about it. We've already been healed, so we accept it.” [We Have Found Him Come And See, Jonesboro AR, 53-0511]
“For God can only save you as you testify. He can only heal you as you testify. He is setting at the right hand of the Father tonight to make intercession upon your profession. It isn't how loud you cry, how hard you beat the altar, how many good deeds you do; it's your faith that saves you. And if you'll confess it with your lips and coming from your heart, He goes to work as a High Priest setting at the right hand of the Father to make intercessions upon your confession. Hebrews 3:1, He cannot do one thing for you until first you believe it and accept and confess it to be so. And the people today, they'll go out, say, "Well, I felt better last night, but today I'm so bad I just can't hardly stand it." That's just exactly when you lose your confession and drop right down. No matter who you are, how saintly, how godly you are, you're a minister, clergyman, or you're a deacon, or whatever you are, or you been a Christian for fifty years, if you go out of here tomorrow and lose faith that you're a Christian and start telling people you're not a Christian any more, you're backslid. You're gone.” [At Thy Word Lord I'll Let Down The Net, Johnson City NY, 54-1207
So we pray for the sick. We do not heal the sick. I've seen tens of thousands of cases healed, definitely healed; four with records of raising from the dead in my own little ministry, but I have never healed anyone yet. It's their faith in a finished work that Christ did at Calvary. "He was wounded for our transgressions; with His stripes we were healed." And now, it's your faith in that finished work that does the work. That's the way it is. You confess it, and He's the High Priest of our confession. He cannot do anything to you, until first you profess that you accept--that you confess what He said, "By His stripes I was healed." Then He's the High Priest to make intercessions upon our confession. And if that ain't the Gospel, I don't know it, and I've--I been wrong. But I've seen Him do it too much.” [It Is I Be Not Afraid, Tulsa OK, 60-0329]
And it's Christ that God looks at, not you. It's Christ. So if there's no fault in Him, how can there be fault? How can He find fault, when you are dead and your life is hid in Christ through God, sealed by the Holy Ghost? "They that are born of God does not commit sin, for he cannot sin." How can he sin when a perfect sacrifice is laying in his place? God never looks at me, He looks at Christ, because we're in Christ. Now, if I love Christ, I'll live with Him. He would never brought me in 'less He know. If God saved me today, knowing He was going to lose me six weeks from today, He is defeating His Own purpose. Right. He don't even know the future then, if He saved me, knowing. What's He want to save me for, knowing He's going to lose me? God doesn't do things, then take it back in two weeks, to keep His promise. When He saves you, it's for time and Eternity.” [Hebrews Chapter Seven 1, Jeffersonville IN, 57-0915E]
“Oh, friend, if you can only read your name in there! Oh, if I can read my name, "He was wounded for William Branham's transgressions. He was bruised." Not the church, not just... not creed." "But He was bruised for my iniquity. The chastisement of my peace was upon Him. And with His stripes William Branham was healed." Oh, if we can just read our name into Scripture, and really mean it, it's that what does it. Read our name into it, makes a receiving, pardoning, for when we realize that He was wounded for our transgression, He was bruised for our iniquity.” [Pardon, Tucson AZ, 63-1028]
“That's the same thing with Divine healing. You don't... I see people get all worked up, and try to... get nervous, and saying, "Oh, if I could just..." You know. Why, you go plumb over the top of it. You leave it behind you. You're going out there, excited, and trying to reach for something, when it's right here by you. Just simple. Just say, "Thank You, Father. You promised it to me. I now receive it." That's all. Watch what happens. Now, mean it in your heart. Just keep saying it, over and over. Say... If you don't believe it altogether, keep saying it until you do believe it. Just keep saying it over. "I thank You, Lord, for my healing." 'Cause what is He? "Christ is the high priest of our confession." Is that right? Hebrews 3. All right. He's the high priest of our confession. Then He cannot do one thing for you, can make no intercession, until first you confess that it's done. Now, is that Scriptural? High priest of our confession. Then he can only act when we confess.” [Why, Phoenix AZ, 61-0128]
“Now, healing is not something that you just say, "Well, I... yeah, I believe it. I believe it." Now, that's all right. If that's the best you can do, just mentally, or just say, "Well, I... Yes, I--I see it. I believe that; I accept it." Then if you accept it on those basis, keep saying it over and over. Say it out loud. Say it over and over; just keep saying, "I'm healed. I'm healed." Say it until actually you believe it. And when you believe it, then it's going to take place. Don't have a negative testimony. Every time when you confess, "Well, I still feel bad today. I guess I..." you go right straight back in the same rut that you was in the beginning. There's not a man or woman in here that is baptized with Holy Spirit but what would start your confession, "I believe I've lost the Holy Spirit. I believe It's gone from me. I believe I..." you'll go right down; you'll never...” [Accept God's Gift, Tallahassee FL, 53-0219]
