“And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy Word.” [I Kings 18:36]
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.” [Isaiah 55:8]
“And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy Word I will let down the net.” [Luke 5:5]
“I want to use a subject of this, of: "God's Provided Way." You know there's two ways for all things. You're aware of that, aren't you? That's your way and God's way. And you can't be in your--have your own way and be in God's way at the same time. You have to get out of your own way and--to let God have His way. Isn't that true? Now, it's either right or left. Now, if you're going your way, you're out of God's way. And if you cease from your own way, you get in God's way. God can have His way when you cease to have your way. But as long as you're having your way, God can't have His way. So you have to go one or the other ways. So let's just let our own way drop tonight, and let's let God have His way. God has a way.” [God's Provided Way, Connersville IN, 53-0613]
It's your faith in God that heals you. And you must have faith. And at one thing, is the way of approach to faith, and a way of approach to God. There's always an approach, a provided approach to... God has in two ways of all things, that's a right way and a wrong way. And your way and my way is the wrong way. God's way is always the right way. No matter how unright it seems to us, yet God's ways are true and right. They're past understanding. But God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform.” [Healing And What Sickness Is, Cleveland OH, 50-0808]
“There's two ways a man can go: and that's his way or God's way, and that's the right way or the wrong way. And your way is always the wrong way, and God's way is the right way. And you can't be in your own way and in God's way at the same time, so you got to get out of your own way so God can have His way in you. That's right. God makes a provided way. Man has always wanted to make his own way. In the garden of Eden, God made a man so he didn't have to shift for nothing. God made him perfect, but man wanted his own way. He wanted to tamper. He wanted to find out. And then as soon as he fell... We've went through that this week, in the studies of the Scripture. He made himself a religion. He didn't wait for God to make him one. He made one hisself, but he found out that his religion, his covering, wouldn't work. That's always been man. He wants his own way. But God had a way. So man made fig leaves and put them over him, him and his wife, but when he come down to face God, he found out that wouldn't work. And I tell you, friends, there's been a many a man, and is tonight, that's coming down to the end of the road, will find out that that little shallow religion that you're holding onto won't work. Nothing short of being borned again will work. Jesus said, "Except a man be born of water and Spirit, he will in no wise enter into the Kingdom." No wise, no matter if he's Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, whatever he is, he will not enter in until he's born of water and Spirit. "Born" means he's "changed." He has to die before he can be born. So you got to die to yourself, be reborn again in Christ Jesus. That's right.” [God's Way That's Been Made For Us, Jeffersonville IN, 52-0900]
“As It is written, see, "Written, you are written epistles," the Bible said. Now, what is epistle? Is a "written word." And you are the "written." Other words, you'd read It like this, "You," It said, "you are written epistles," or, "you are the Word, that has been written, made manifest," nothing can be added to It. You can't say, "I'm a written epistle," and living some other kind of a something but what This has already wrote, [Brother Branham pats his Bible--Ed.] because nothing can be added or taken away.” [64-0614M, The Unveiling Of God, Jeffersonville IN, USA]
“I think of Peter when the Lord told him, said, "Come," walking on the waters. Why, Peter never walked on water, never heard of anybody else ever walking on water. "I don't know how to walk on water, Lord, but at thy Word, here I come." And he did. That's right. The woman that... Oh, many times we just call off different things in the Scriptures if we had time, of the people who have things... Mary had never knowed about how a baby could be born a virgin birth, but she took God at His Word. "At thy Word, Lord." She went testifying before anything happened; she testified it was going to happen because she took God at His Word. And let's us this afternoon take God at His Word now, and here's what He said in His Word, "Whatsoever things," Mark 11:24, "whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive it, and it shall be given unto you." You'll have it. Now, isn't that simple? Now, I love you, and I don't want there to be one single person in this building this afternoon who won't be healed. See? And I believe with all of my heart in holding my faith, as I was praying in the room awhile ago, before leaving, "God, please heal every person, or shake them so hard that they'll know at the judgment that I told the truth about this, (See?) that there won't be one feeble person left in the midst of the people." That's right. Now, I see visions over the people, but I can't say that they're healed until He tells me their healed. And He can't tell till your faith actually acts. And your faith acting will bring God's Word to pass. You've got to believe it, accept it, testify it. Say, "I receive it now, Lord, and that settles it forever. No matter what I feel like, nothing about it; I'm going to believe it anyhow." “[At Thy Word Lord, Wood River IL, 54-0221]
And you're bound to be backsliding constantly, so it takes a constant prayer to God. Paul said, "I die daily." And if Paul had to die daily, how much more am I going--I'm going to have to stay there dead all the time, if--if Paul had to die daily to stay right with God. And so, we'll all have to do that, just die out to ourself. And that's getting God's way. Now, there's only two ways of anything: That's the right way and the wrong way. And them ways are your ways and God's way. And you can't be in your way and God's way at the same time. You've got to forget your own way to get in God's way. And you got to get out of your own way to get in God's way. For as long as you're in your own way, you're out of His way. So forsake your way, forsake your thoughts, forsake everything, and just rely one thing, on THUS SAITH THE LORD. That's all. Then you know you're right.” [God's Provided Way, West Palm Beach FL, 53-1201]
“And there's where God spoke from the heaven, and he saw the Spirit of God coming like a dove, falling upon a Man Who'd been born in a manger. See, what the world call great, God calls foolish. And what the world calls foolish, God calls great. That's right. So don't mind to be called foolish. 'Cause remember. You can't have the mind of Christ and the mind of the world at the same time. You can't be in your way and God's way at the same time. You have to get out of your own way to let God have His way. That's the only way you're ever going to do anything. You got to get away from your own thoughts, your own reasons. Don't try to reason; just believe.” [Witnesses, Phoenix AZ, 54-0303]
“You don't know how you'll get up out of that chair, and get away from there tonight. See? You don't know how you're going to do this, and how these other diseases are going to be healed, "But at thy Word, Lord, I'm going to let down the net." "At thy Word, Lord, I'm going to rise up from here. I don't know how I'm going to do it, but at thy Word, Lord." That's it. Take God at His Word, and God's spoken Word must--will materialize and produce just exactly what It says It will. Listen. The right mental attitude towards any Divine promise of God will bring it to pass. I don't care what it is. If--if you plant, if you want corn, you plant corn, water corn, leave corn alone. It'll produce corn. Is that right? Wheat will produce wheat. The promise of salvation will produce a Christian. The promise of the Holy Ghost will bring It to you. The promise of Divine healing will make you well. Any Divine promise of God... And the Bible said that the Word of God is a Seed. Is that right?” [At Thy Word, West Palm Beach FL, 53-1204]
“There's a choosing, and we choose for ourselves. We choose something that's for our own good. But Moses chose the afflictions and the disgrace, that he might walk with the people of God. Think of it, now. Listen to it: "Chose the afflictions of the people of God and counted it a greater treasure, for he endured seeing Him Who was invisibly." Now Lot, one time, had to make a choice. And it may be this morning, that there'll be men and women setting here, that'll make your final choice. You are today what you are, because several years ago you chose to be what you are now. And what you choose now, will determine what you'll be five years from today. Five years from today you may be a missionary. Five years from today you may be a renown Christian. Or five years from today you may be in hell, because you made the wrong decision. Five years from today you may be cleaning spittoons in a barroom. Five years from today you may be a prostitute on the street. Or you may be a man or a woman, that's a--that's a credit to any society, because of your choice for Christ. Five years from today you may be in glory, gone in the rapture, because you made your choice today. But you've got to choose. And don't look at what you see; choose what you see by faith. That's the only thing that will count, is what you choose by faith.” [By Faith Moses, Jeffersonville IN, 58-0720M]
