“That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” [Matthew 5:45]
“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:” [I Peter 3:18]
“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.” [John 5:30]
Great material things don't always rest in God's will. God makes the rain to fall on the just and the unjust. But what the world needs today is not a bluff of faith, to try to bluff yourself into something and call it spiritual.” [59-0125,Be Certain Of God, Jeffersonville IN]
“There's three people of you. The outside is the body. You got five senses, that you contact your earthly home with that. The inside is a spirit. There's five senses there, love and conscience, and so forth, you contact. But the inside of that is the soul. 102    Remember, "The rain falls on the just and the unjust." The same rain that'll make a grain of wheat grow makes a cocklebur grow too. See? What is it? At the inside of that seed is a nature, and that nature display, displays itself. It can stand in the same field, right there with the weed. The weed and the wheat stand together, rejoice just as much. Its head is down. It's starving for a drink. When a rain comes, the cocklebur can shout just as loud as the wheat can. "But by their fruits you shall know them." “ [65-1205, Things That Are To Be, Rialto CA]
“The same Holy Spirit that anoints the Church, that gives them desire to save souls, that gives them power to perform miracles, It falls on the unjust the same as the just. The very same Spirit! Now, you can't make it another way and understand Matthew 24:24. He said, "There shall rise false Christs," false, anointed ones. Anointed with the genuine Thing, but be false prophets of It, false teachers of It. What would make a man want to be a false teacher of something that's Truth? Now we'll get down to the mark of the beast in a few minutes, and you'll see it's denomination. See? False teachers; false, anointed. Anointed Christs, but false teachers. It's the only way you can see it.” [65-0725M, The Anointed Ones At The End Time, Jeffersonville IN]
“You say, "I got the baptism, the Holy Ghost." That don't mean that you're saved, not by a long ways. 145    Looky here. You are a triune being. You are. Inside this little fellow here is the soul, the next is the spirit, and next is the body. Now, you got five senses in this body, to contact your earthly home. They don't contact the rest of it. You got five senses of the spirit, here: love and conscience, and so forth, of that. But in here is where you live. That's what you are. Didn't Jesus say, "The rain falls on the just and the unjust"? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] Put a cocklebur out here, and a wheat out there, and pour water on them, and keep them under fertilize and things like that, won't they both live by the same water? ["Amen."] Sure. Well, what is it? One of them will bear a cocklebur, 'cause that's all he is. The cocklebur will raise his hands and shout just the same as the wheat.” [65-1204, The Rapture, Yuma AZ]
“The Spirit can come out here and anoint you to do certain thing, and you do it, but that don't mean you're saved. Think of it. Caiaphas prophesied. Judas cast out devils. See, the Spirit anointed him. This rain falls on the just and the unjust, the weeds can rejoice with the wheat. But it's what it is at the core. There's where you can, intellectuals, can accept and say, "Oh, sure, that looks good. I believe that." That still don't do it. No, sir. And the spirit can actually make witness of it, and still it isn't so. Because if that soul hasn't come from God, it can make all the impersonations out here, but it cannot be real. You can act healing, you can act like you have. You can act like you receive it. Christians can act like they're Christians, and act and be ever so good at it, but that don't mean they're saved. That's exactly right, see. The Spirit can be there, the real, genuine Spirit. The Holy Spirit can anoint you, that still don't mean you're saved. It's that inside soul that never dies, it's got Eternal Life. It always was Eternal Life. See? It come from God, it goes to God, it's the soul.” [65-1126, Works Is Faith Expressed, Shreveport LA]
“And we find on down a little farther in our lesson, that many of those were overthrowed because they could do all the rituals, and all the orders and everything that God required, and still their hearts wasn't right with God. Now, we can do many things. We can take communion. We could be baptized. We can--we can come to church, have our names on the book, or be just as respect and reverent as we can be, and still be lost. That's a solemn warning. We could be just as--just rejoice, when the Spirit would fall. And in a meeting where the Word was being preached, and our souls would just rejoice with the Word, and still be lost. The rain falls on the just and the unjust. The same rain that makes the wheat grow, makes the weed grow. It's the nature of the product. See? It's the nature of it that tells what we are. Therefore, it's the nature that's in us that tells what we are. See? Not we might be so religious till we wouldn't turn our hands on Sunday to do a thing. We might not even take a stitch in our clothes on Sunday. We might not even feel justified to buy food on Sunday. And we might be so religious and so pious. But yet if we are not literally borned again of the Spirit of God, we're just worshipping in vain. So now, it's pretty stiff, and we want to really find it and know the truth; because remember, we're not going to get a second chance at this. It's just this one time. So you'd better be real sure.” [57-0414, Corinthians Book Of Correction, Jeffersonville IN
“The Bible said, "The sun shines on the just and the unjust; the rain falls on the just and un-..." Hebrews the 6th chapter, and it says that, "The--the rain cometh oft upon the earth, to water it, and prepare it for what it's dressed, you know, to make living; but thorns and thistles live by the same water, same sunshine." For, it's a law of God, to ripen every seed, to make every seed produce itself. So, it had to produce the serpent's "seed." And it never--never hindered God; it fulfilled His complete plan, it made Him a Redeemer. Any blind ought almost see that, unless it's hid. "The god of the world" has hid it from you. It's just as plain as anything you can see. There you are. There is your serpent's "seed." Now notice. But, "Jesus was the beginning of the creation of God." “[64-0802, The Future Home Of The Heavenly Bridegroom And The Earthly Bride, Jeffersonville IN]
“I want you to think. You say, "Oh, Brother Branham, I enjoy the Word of God." Yes, brother, the rain falls on the just and the unjust. The weed out here is just as good, rejoices just as much to get that water that falls down from heaven and rejoices with it just as much as your cotton does, just as much as your garden does. It's the same water. But at the end time, what happens? He sends forth the Angels and gathers all the briers, all the bad weeds, the foul things, and they're cast into the fire. But what happens to the wheat and the grain? It's taken to the garner. Mules, donkeys, camels, all other animals that grazed upon the ground, certainly they eat the same kind of food every man that goes to church. But it's just the sheep that's called when the sun's going down. Are you a sheep tonight, brother? Sister dear, are you one of God's little lambs? If you're not sure of that, let's make it sure just now. Will you raise up your hand to Christ and say, "By this, Christ, I'm now accepting You as my Saviour; be merciful to me"?” [57-0308,  The Good Shepherd Of The Sheep, Phoenix AZ]
“But God's little group is His Bride, centered on that Word. May the dear Heavenly Father ever keep you stabilized right there. Don't you never move from that Word. You may bless, you may... God may heal your sick. He may heal your sick baby. He may heal your husband, your wife. He may heal your mother, somebody else. You may jump at His Spirit, and dance up-and-down. Remember, the rain falls on the just and the unjust, just the same. But when that seed is laying there, it's either ordained or it's not ordained. And if it's ordained, it can... If it's a wheat, it has to bring forth wheat. If it's a Word of God, it has to produce the Word of God. If it isn't, well, then it isn't. See? You get that now?” [65-0418E, Does God Ever Change His Mind About His Word, Jeffersonville IN]
Lord, whatever it takes, please help me "to be centered on that Word' and "never move from that Word."
