“If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.” [Genesis 4:7]
“And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.” [I Kings 18:21]
“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” [James 1:6-8]
But God has so made a way, that man is placed into a position to where he's forced to make a decision. Man cannot live on earth without making a decision. God forces the issue to him. He must make some decision. And there's a time when you have to make a decision of schooling, you have to make a decision of who you'll marry. And you have to make decisions of different things.” [61-0402 The True Easter Seal, Jeffersonville IN]
“But in the Garden of Eden where they had only two boys, the decision was forced upon man to make a decision. And I think it's done to show his true color, what he is, to show what he is inside of him. Now, we find that the time came, between Cain and Abel that the decision had to be forced, because that the time of worship had come, and each boy had provided a way to make a worship to God. And if you'll notice, between right and wrong there's just one little breath of difference. And the wrong in the last days has been prophesied that it would be so close to the right, that it would deceive the very elected if it was possible, between right and wrong.” [61-0402 The True Easter Seal, Jeffersonville IN]
“Now, we're all born, a free moral agent, to make any decision that we wish to. God justly does that. Because, He must put every man on the same basis, or He put the wrong man on... He put the first man on the wrong basis, that He put on free moral agency. See? We're just exactly, tonight, like Adam and Eve. There's no different. Right and wrong sets before either one of us. Life and death, we can make our choice; up to you, to make it. See? That's the way Adam and Eve did, and, see, and--and they made the wrong choice. And now, by that, put the whole race, of human race, under death, the penalty of death. And then God came down in the form of man and took that death, and paid the penalty of death, that the... His subjects that desired to--to be free could go free. 50    Now, if He took us, without the same way that He did Adam and Eve, just pulled us through something, said, "I'll save you whether you want saved or not," then He put Adam and Eve on--on the wrong basis, you see. But each one of us has to choose, this day, between death and life. We can do it.” [63-0717 A Prisoner, Jeffersonville IN]
“Lot, as he had to make a choice, Abraham give Lot his choice. And God gives you your choice. "Choose you this day who you shall serve." In the garden of Eden there was a tree of--of knowledge and a Tree of Life. Man was given the privilege to choose either one he desired. And so is it today; you're given your privilege, as free moral agents, to choose whatever you want to choose. My advice to you is, don't look at the modern things around you, and the popularity, and the glamour that you could be, but choose rather, by faith Him, that give the promise that someday He will come and will righten all wrongs, and will give you Eternal Life, and raise you up. No matter if you take the despised way with the Lord's few, make that choice.” [58-0720M By Faith Moses, Jeffersonville IN]
There's a choosing, and we choose for ourselves. We choose something that's for our own good. But Moses chose the afflictions and the disgrace, that he might walk with the people of God. Think of it, now. Listen to it: "Chose the afflictions of the people of God and counted it a greater treasure, for he endured seeing Him Who was invisibly." Now Lot, one time, had to make a choice. And it may be this morning, that there'll be men and women setting here, that'll make your final choice. You are today what you are, because several years ago you chose to be what you are now. And what you choose now, will determine what you'll be five years from today. Five years from today you may be a missionary. Five years from today you may be a renown Christian. Or five years from today you may be in hell, because you made the wrong decision. Five years from today you may be cleaning spittoons in a barroom. Five years from today you may be a prostitute on the street. Or you may be a man or a woman, that's a--that's a credit to any society, because of your choice for Christ. Five years from today you may be in glory, gone in the rapture, because you made your choice today. But you've got to choose. And don't look at what you see; choose what you see by faith. That's the only thing that will count, is what you choose by faith.” [[58-0720M By Faith Moses, Jeffersonville IN]
“Now, they went off in such a hurry, without even considering God. And when they found out the seven days was up, well, their water supply was cut off. They didn't have any water to drink. And there they was out there with their cattle, and with their animals, and their water supply was cut off. And looks like that it was just about the end for them. Now, that's what we do. Sometimes we go off on a tantrum somewhere and not think about God, not pray over it, ask the Lord whether we should do it or not, and we find out that our supply of blessings is cut off. Then we wonder sometime, "Well, wonder why I can't have no more blessings." You don't watch, you let down in your prayer life. You say, "Well, I'm a Christian." Well, that's the more sign you should pray, more than ever. Read the Bible every day. Pray every day. Don't make any decisions too harshly or too quickly, without first considering God about it. Ask Him, "Shall I do this, Father?" Ask Him, "Is it Your will for me to do this?" Then see what the Holy Spirit will speak to you. He might not give you a vision, but He will speak in some way to you, to let you know, if you'll be sincere and ask Him.” [54-0723 The Prophet Elisha, Chicago IL]
“"Well, Lord, if You'll just bless me and do this for me, I'll do so-and-so." That's not a decision. "God, I don't care what you do with me; I'll go anyhow. If I die, all right. Live or die, or whatever, if they laugh at me, make fun of me, don't make any difference, I'll go anyhow." That's clean cut decisions, like Rebekah made 'fore she even seen Isaac. Her parents said, "Let the girl answer. The girl, she's of age, let her answer." She said, "I'll go": clean cut decision, quickly made. She clave to it. That's what Ruth did. Orpah went back.” [60-1002 The Kinsman Redeemer, Jeffersonville IN]
“This is a choosing time. You cannot stand neutral any longer. You may leave before the message is over, but you can't go out that door the same person you come in. That's right. You'll cross that threshold tonight either a better person or a--a more evil person than you was when you entered. You can't help it. It's up to you to make a decision. Now, notice. It's a choosing time. You can't be neutral. It's a choosing time. You must choose you this day whom you're going to serve. And the devil has presented many things glamorous that you can choose if you wish to. You can't remain the way you are, because you've got to be.” [58-0128 The Oneness Of Unity, Waterloo IA]
